Am sure they say wait til after 6mnths old mate before getting to serious even still dont take out with gun or that till about 12mnths. But be quite consistant with sit and retreving, but it should all be fun and play for the dog at this stage. Am not a professional so maybe someone better will fill u in. thanks
Wish u well with him cause ive just picked up my wee 8week old springer.

Well chaps, I get my 8 week old springer pup tomorrow, going to name him Duke, ive been going up every week and seeing him since he was 4 weeks. Hes a wee cracker, i will get some pics up tomorrow. CANT WAIT !!
Hi, everyone has there own opinion on this 1 but most people including me use .22 because it has harder hitting power, but when aiming with .22 hold over and hold under has to come into consideration when judging distance of target. Where the .177 has a flatter flight path which makes it a wee bit easyer to hit bang on, so really it all depends on you. Proberly best with .22 though. Am sure somone else will fill u in better.

As said above theres no real time limit, just bung it in and leave it. Ive been doing venison chunks in mine for making pies and its been coming out realy tender but not dry. Chicken just falls of the bone when you do 1 in it.

Best thing u can do is go and speak to some farmers, chap there door and speak face to face. If theve got a rabbit problem they will either say yes or no. All depends is someone already ferrets it or not, but usualy if they do have rabbits they will let u ferret cause the want rid of the buggers. GOOD LUCK
First book (Hardback version)
WILDFOWL by Steve madge and Hilary burn, best bird book of the year 1988. Very good condition, small red pen mark and typical worn edges on the dust cover.
Second book (Hardback version)
SHOREBIRDS by Peter hayman, John Marchant and tony prater. Best bird book of 1986. Again in very good condition just ruff edges on dust cover.
These books dont get published no more and are quite collectable. Dont want to put a price on them so looking for OFFERS. thanks.
Just depends on the size of holes your going ti be ferreting. I got all 4ft purse nets and they do me fine, most of my warrens has big entrances. Suppose its better to be to big than small.
