    Your already looking in the right place, ive just started out with ferrets myself so im still on the learning curve but the best bit of advise i can give is READ, read up as much as u can about ferrets and ferreting because the last thing u want to do is get a couple of ferrets and find out there not what u thought they would be.     well im going out for the first timethis week so i will put a door on the nest box and sit on tghe floor i dont trust my carpentry skills lol i got 1 of them boxes off ebay cracking bit of kit for the price well made good hindges solid little box are they the ones from the ferret box company or what? i heard is it john humbery off here makes them? the one im gettings of the ferret box co, got an email saying there having problems with royal mail, hope it comes soon. billy

    Hi guys, At what age are ferrets/polecats fully grown and does a polecat tend to be a bit bigger than a ferret because ive been noticing between my 2 kits the polecat looks more filled out or u could say fatter than the ferret.     never heard that one bud, but if we werent to do all the things these scientists and doctors say we would be a sad world. NO red meat, NO choclate,NO alcohol. NOW processed hams cancerious lol.     Well guys i run a creosote treament plant up here in scotland, we treat telegraph pole, railway sleepers and fencing for farmers. It got banned to public use because there's a chemical in it thats meant to be CANCERIOUS and because it can burn u, HEALTH AND SAFTY ISSUE'S. But we still work with it lol. We get alot of older men coming in complaining that the new stuff in shops is like water, never tryed it, i sneak a few gallon here and there lol. ATB BILLY

    Hi guys, ive got a pole cat kit and albino kit both 13 weeks and hobs, they seem to play fight all the time there out which ive been told is pretty normal but the wee pole cat is getting a bit of a scabby back. Its not bleeding or that just a bit scabby, does this usualy happen and what can i do to stop them play fighting ruff. THANKS ATB BILLY

    Youve made a good one mate . Ive had my escort for 2 years now an never had a problem, jammed maybe 2 or 3 times, if u keep it oiled and clean u should be fine. The way a see it if u buy a berreta or some other top class gun your always worried about scratches in that, with this your still to be carfull but your not scared to roll about ditches an that. Should get a good crack at ducks in 2 weeks though. HAPPY HUNTING
