    Well thats me ordered my mk3m ferret finder with 2 collars from Arthur Carter it was £199 with p&p and a get a free packet of batts worth £10, should be here tomorow . Just curious has anyone ever got there partners to hide the collars somwhere so u can try and locate them to try it out, cause ive never used one before. Billy

    Awright mexlad, ive had mine for about 3mnths now and its a cracking gun and couldnt fault it 1 bit. Some people have had problems with the magazine sticking but i just keep mine well oiled and its fine, heres a pic from yesterday.

    The collars! The mk3m are supposed to be more water resistant, and you can turn them on and off without removing the batteries. Cheers halfinch billy

    Decided to have a crack around my work this morning, my dad was working and he hasnt had a chance to see the gun in action so thought i would try and show of. Just driving around the yard in first gear on tic over, i spotted my first target. The bunny was sitting along the fence line and a managed to sneek behind a stack of telegraph poles and in perfect view, got a cracking shot right behind the eye, some THUD comes of these logan's when it hits home. Then a gave my dad a few shots at a target when a wood cushy flew up on the tree next to us, my dad handed me the gun back and THWACK!!!!!!!!!

    A tryed to search but never found anything. SO, what size purse nets best for starting, i know it depends on the ground and cover so im just going to practice on the open burries first. Was thinking about getting some 4ft spun nylon or poly, would this be a good start. THANKS atb Billy

    Thanks guys, i would start the now but my ferrite are only four mnths old so just going to wait till next month and start them on small burries first. Its going to be a learning curve for the 3 of us butim sure i will be fine lol

    Well guys, as title says i got my first ferreting permission about 2 hours ago. The land i have at the moment is only good for shooting so decided to go and knock a few doors. Up here leven fife theres and old valcano called Largo Law, climbed up it a few times and noticed a good few, easy to get to burries so decided to try this farm first . So, as i start driving to the farm a start getting second thoughts because a get nervious when it comes to stuff like this but ma girlfriend says stop being a poof, so a went and boy am glad.     C***TS, someone broke into my hutch last week and stole my albino hob and left my poley. Got a shed built with alarm on monday and the woman i got them of gave me a free jill so hope mine will be fine now. WHY would anyone want to steal them though when u can pick them up for free. Hope u find some more mate. billy

    Been back upto the woman i got my first ones from and took my wee poley with me, shes going to keep um till i get my new shed built. Ive picked a nice wee albino jill which the woman was kind enough to give me for free and there both in a hutch at her house becoming good friends am sure. Ioffered her £20 for the jill and for looking after him but she refused so THANK U to her. Shed comes monday so i will have to get some sort of alarm or somthing then going to pick both them up next friday. atb Billy

    Cheers mate, but going to see the woman i got them from tonight. Shes going to keep my other one the now just incase they come back and im getting a big shed built now so i can keep them indoors and shes going to give me one of the poleys brothers. Billy

    Went to go and feed my to ferrets this morning and the lock was bust, opened up and my wee poley looked up sad and the c**ts took my wee albino hob. Phoned police they said they cant do nothing because there not that VALUABLE , valuable, they are to me !! Then she asked how much he cost i said £10, AW she goes there not that exspensive. Fair to say she got called a c**t aswell. Just hope he gets looked after properly. U can get ferrets for free so why do these sad people take from others. If i find out who it was bugger the police he will be getting a LEFT and a RIGHT !!!!
