And meanwhile back in Bedlington land - It's groundhog day. Nothing changes - Sad but true!

first place I looked while trying too source a bedlington was George Newcombe he at that time did not have any pups for sale but put me onto another fella who I met at George Newcombe's house brilliant old guy and it was a pleasure to meet him anyway the lad brought two pups for me too choose from I made my choice. And paid my money and then repented at my leisure as I said worst terrier I have ever owned and was bred from workers I later found out the pups were far too inbred Was that Johnny Williams? Inbreeding to workers should increase not decrease the chances of producing workers. The

Did you notice every single one of the people who viewed her proflie were "non-English"? She also previously worked for a number of businesses who served the Asian community. Put into her first multi cultural role and she blows a gasget.

No big surprise as they hold us "Kuffas" (non muslims) in absolute contempt. Anyway here's Sharika Sacranies LinkedIn profile - It very helpfully gives her email address and work telephone number should anyone wish to contact her and ask her why she acted in the way she did. http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/sharika-bella-sacranie/5a/a7/153

That Fender kit should be ideal Johnnieboy The tuner is a tenner on it's own. But try to get it for the same price from a proper music shop - Many will pric match. If you ask them nicley they will set it up for you to play straight out of the box.

I started out years ago on a cheap Yamaha acoustic and then onto a Squier Telecaster. I'm now playing a Taylor accoustic and an American built Fender Telecaster. Guitars are generally an investment so if you give up you should get a fair percentage of your money back on them. How about this pack from Fender to start - includes strings, back and tuner. http://www.reidys.com/pr/acoustic-guitars/fender-cd-60-acoustic-pack-sunburst-5531/?&utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=Feed&utm_campaign=PriceComparison&gclid=CKjCrIuUlrcCFfLKtAod-w8A5w

We were having a discussion tonight and the amount of Scotsmen managing teams in the English premiership is staggering and totally dispraportionate to the size and population in Scotland. Over the years we have had Bill Shankley, Sir Matt Busby, Daglish, Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes, Gordon Strachan, George Graham, Paul Lambert, Alex Mccleish and some that I've probably forgotten. Why when we are so shite at the game ourselves can this be?

If the rumours are to be believed. Odds on Moyes shortening by the hour.

Glover...how Does He Get Paid To Write
david2363 replied to Big bald beautiful's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Was there a pic of Ted in his latest comic? Glover will do anything to stay in the public eye and I'm afraid he will never go away. He has his disciples and blind followers who have now set up an alternative "working" Bedlington forum around the great ginger bulshitte where the members while away the hours chatting about ratting, Kennel Club Bedlngtons and selling pups from their next litter. -
keep trying Love the avatar Davy - Are you looking like Rab c these days? No yet dave getting there but lol PK's uncle Andy Deans always reminded me of Rab C

I'm very choosy who I keep company with Alun. You are probably still studding the living donuts out of your big fat cowardly Bedlington and probably won't stop now. Your desperation to keep this quiet on the Bedlington forum saw you sink to new depths - using the word grass to try to shut them up about your practices. Keep answering Alun . . . .

Baldocks Who bred your Bedlington bitch?

I.ve always found them selectively deaf. As long as they are game it doesn't matter.
-
But sadly the Working Bedlington forum has been infiltrated and destroyed by the "rodent chewers and chancers"
-
Yes I think that would be best Alun with the many question marks hanging over your "stud dog" Shamus.

What a sweeping comment! I don't know any serious bushing people who use cockers for bushing but a lot who use small terriers that kill heaps more rabbits in a bramble than a cocker would. I don't know any serious digging men who use bedlingtons for proper digging and I know a few serious digging men. What would a cocker do faced with a fox or munti it had a chance too grab? Not a lot, There shoot breed dogs. My bedlington bitch hasn't started yet but from the country and game I work I can't see her hunting style being a problem from what I've seen of her, I expect a bit of obe

There are very few places you can get a good working Bedlington pup from these days as the breed has been infiltrated and almost hijacked by ratters and puppy peddlers. Be very carefull who you buy from on the Working Bedlington forum - There are a handfull of good honest lads on there who work there dogs - Peacham, Morton, Rory, Mossberg and Corbet and 1 or 2 others but the vast majority of other members think crunching an 8oz rodent is real terrier work. There is also a large amount of pups being sired by a particular stud dog in South Wales who has been proved on more than one occasion

I'll clear it oot

She says her bitch is tested clear but Pennymeadows dog is a carrier - but she says she wasn't told until after she asked around. Some Bedlington hybrid dogs have shown signs of CT so would lurchers be any different.
-
Does anyone on here have a Bedlington x Whippet or Bedlington x Greyhound bred by Pennymeadow whippets of Skelmersdale? The reason I ask is that a member of the working Bedlington forum has reported that she took her Bedlington bitch to be lined by Pennymeadows Bedlngton Highhill Asteric of Pennymeadow and she says that she has since dicovered that the Bedlington dog is a Copper Tocxicosis carrier. I just wondered if anyone has had a Bedlington lurcher sired by the same Bedlington and if so has anyones dog shown signs of suffering from Copper Toxicosis.
