Hi Mole
If it was my permission i'd take a trip out just for a look at distance with a pair of bino's find out where the rabbits like to go and their runs, then i'd invest or make a Ghiilie suit, get ther few hours before sunset/sunrise and lay in wait in a good spot at a distance you can comfortably shoot at, Scent is a major problem whilst hunting rabbits, Ive heard deodrant, washing powder, smoking etc, can spook a rabbit, so dont wash your hunting gear an use spray go after them smelly
Couple more pics, Managed to sneak out for an hour over weekend without the Dragons permission ,I had a wander round the woods and disused Cemetery,Did'nt see a Damn thing, Sods law

Hey Grimbo,
If i was you i'd pick up a brand new Spring Rifle, (some may disagree )Their More or less problem free, No hassle with running out of Air or filling up Dive Bottles Its just Cock it and fire.Luvly Jubly. You can Pick up a brand New AirArms Tx200 with a decent scope for that money or a nearly new Prosport, Other options are anything in the Weirauch range over £350 Or even a Bsa Lightning would do the job.
Thanks for all the Compliments guys, Managed to get out for an hour this afternoon between showers, Took it up the abandoned reservois and spent the first 30/40 pellets taking pot shots at floating cans did'nt hit any ha ha, After that i put up my paper targets and started to zero scopes, Within 15 minutes i was putting pellet on pellet at 30yds, Very impressed, As its my first IR scope the Illuminated Crosshair looks superb to, I am over the Moon with this rifle and already thinking up excuses to sneak off from work early tomorrow, Will pop some new pics on tomorrow.
Thanks for looking
Well its chucking it down here, Looks like its in for the day too
No going out today and i work all week so havr to wait for next weekend to try it out
Had lots of rifles as a kid beat up webley vulcans and El Gamos, But grew up turned into a teenager and dicovered booze fags and girls etc and lost interest for years lol. Anyway started taking up shooting seriously about 4/5 yrs ago First Rifle i bought was a Smk Xs20, Was chuffed zeroed it took out a few crows and squizzers in the following weeks, After about 3 months tho things went bad, Started making a terrible Twang and then i could'nt hit Sh*t, Tried my best to zero scopes again but found every shot was different and inconsistant, Smk's are cheap rubbish in my experience, Stay well away
Thought I'd show off my new Rifle, Weirauch Hw97KT in .22 Crowned with a Hawke Eclipse 3-12 x 50 Illuminated, Cant upload pics as to big, follow the links instead. Let me know what you think, Taking it out to zero scopes tomorrow and fire the first pellets thru it. More pics to follow tomorrow.

Hi all i recently purchased an old HW77k Shoots like a dream but in need of some TLC,
Im unfamiliar with Weirauchs and this is my first so might sound a novice but are the old 77's Powder coated because there are a few dings on the underlever and barrel that have gone back to bare metal,
Basically looking for a way to disguise or re paint these any Ideas on what to use
