  1. Just had a look at that bigredbusa - someone else said it was because pheasants are out of season? If so I don't think celticwar should have been banned for simply replying
  2. A bipod for a springer is never a good idea mate. A springer has to recoil; A bipod will arrest that.
  3. Oh - and this My mate had a 95 and I found them very different rifles - the Webley felt more "substantial", with a thicker stock etc. There's a few to consider around that sort of level - TX200HC is a very nice one too
  4. I have a Longbow which I love - very nicely balanced rifle. I had it v-mached (10 months ago) & it is superb If you can get a Brummie the build quality is generally thought to be better
  5. Don't doubt what you're saying mate. does seem harsh - if not downright odd tbh What reason did they give you?
  6. Well done mate Agree with Hob though, less awkward
  7. I've heard that if you send a pre anti-tamper rifle back to AA it will be anti-tamper when you get it back. Could this have happened with yours?
  8. It's heavier pellets=more power for springers & less for PCP I think? You'll never get a manufacturer to check every rifle with every pellet, if they did the cost would rise massively. I suppose if this did happen folk would then complain that their rifle was underpower with their favoured pellets. A gun shop sold my mate a HW95 that was putting out 13.5 ft/lb when chrono'd. It was soon rectified
  9. Agree with this. More "margin for error" with distance with .177
  10. You didn't miss much; Hopkins tied up at every opportunity. Joe didn't fight his own fight, however he won. I didn't think it was by that margin though. Well done Joe
  11. I think Fraudley won by sending his opponent to sleep. There's no way that fella should have been in the same ring & yet Harrison makes it look hard work. 3 rounds to throw a (poor) combination. For such a big man his punches seem to lack any power or conviction. Anyhow, on to the main course Come on Joe
  12. I've never used this: http://footyonline.tv/ But it's a link from elsewhere that is spot on for the footy apparently. It is a pay site but I understand it is a good stream, as I say I can't vouch as I've never used it. I think you have outfoxed me , had my first drink around half seven
  13. Sir...how very dare you?!?! 2-0 to the Toon and Martins to score first. The Forces of Darkness have done well this season and I think Keane will be good for them. They are safe this season and haven't played some bad football really, but I think the mags will win this one. A backhanded compliment if I ever saw one As a neutral, I think it'll be 1-1
  14. Good point about the home judges knash'. I'd like to hear a true neutrals opinion about tonight. Its hard not to let your heart sway your judgement. Am sticking with Calzaghe on points though. If I recall Hopkins has only lost once & that was "away" Unless JC repeats the Lacey showing, he won't win this on points. The only other concern I have is that I'm drinking my beer too quickly
  15. We agree then? I'd love to see JC outclass Hopkins, but that won't happen, so how to beat him? Stamina could be the key, save for underhand tactics from Hopkins on the inside.
  16. Same here abley I also agree with parts of what bill & gnasher have said I like Calzaghe; always gives his all & is a good boxer. He can be a "slappy" puncher though - not sure that'll matter tonight. If it's close at the end I would expect Hopkins to get the decision as the yanks very rarely lose on points at home' it may not get that far as Hopkins is an expert at fighting dirty inside.I hope a cut doesn't finish it. I hope Joe wins, if he does I think rounds 9-10 (I'm not staying up for nothing)

I've got a 400k with the multishot conversion -they're nice guns & the conversion kit is well worth the outlay
