  1. A lot of reports neglected to include the fact that the assailants were asian
  2. Best wishes to you, Ella and your family Top Chalker. Also, well done to Dodger and Tommy
  3. It depends on the size of the dog mate. You should look to give about 2-3% of body weight a day; do you know how much it weighed? If you want to feed her twice a day thats fine; some feed once a day, some people will miss a day out every so often. It think it just depends on what suits your dog. Good luck with it
  4. Did they find the ball? Thought not..smackhead fuckas I f****n hate flexi leads; do you control your dog or not?

    FINAL 2

I beleive the Weihrauch has the better (Rekord) trigger. As for the rest, dunno but I fancy an Evo edit for spelling
  9. As said, .177 is better over longer distances, but you obviously need to be accurate over those distances to maximise the chance of a kill shot. I have a .22 which I have no probs with at 30-35yds but wouldn't want to rely on it any further If you can, try 'em both first
  10. They do feel nice,especially when you're pointing it P.S. - wasn't having a pop at your photography :thumbs-up:
  11. I've heard the Nv has a 5 yr guarantee too. Can't be bad
  12. Same here - it's a great site. I understand the reasoning though, they need to protect their interests, so to speak. I found it hugely interesting & informative, but felt I had nothing to add considering the knowledge & experience on there. Pity really but doubt I'd meet the requirements so I'll have to wear it Edit for spelling
  13. At last Hard to tell from pics but seems in decent nick. Best of luck with it :thumbs-up:
  14. Mad Al Did you get the Longbow? If so, how do you find it?
  15. I've got one in .22 - it's a nice airgun; decent weight and balance & accurate with it. Mine has been chrono'd at 11.83 ft/lb so good power too. As far as value - I got mine (beech stock) used from a local gun shop, totally unmarked with a logun silencer & AGS SWAT 3-12x44 scope for £220, so as said by B.B.B. £130 - £160 sounds about right. So £150 for rifle only (silencer?) in good nick seems reasonable
  16. Nice try anyway Rhys I didn't hear any of it; I would have thought the callers were fairly evenly split? I believe they had a poll as well - anyone know the result of that? Oh just remembered - stuck it on today to see if they mentioned anything & the fella said the foxhunting feature will be a downloadable podcast; next week I would think. Might be worth a listen Edited for spelling
  17. This was mentioned on Talksport yesterday morning as I was getting out of the car (I know it's shite - I don't normally listen ). The host agreed with removing the ban, but I did't hear any callers. Did anyone hear it? If so what was the general consensus? Cheers
  18. 0.22 Webley Longbow with AGS SWAT 3-12x44
  19. If you have the funds for a PCP then go for it, as its the quietest of your options , but dont forget charging gear Phutt,, AA 410 are well good and so cheap},Have you got a gunclub near you ?as the gun has to fit you ,unless you want to lose money upgreading in a few months time,,, most clubs will let you have a look so you can find what suites you best fenman is a rated gun, logen mk 1 and 2 i had probs with pellet jam Thanks for your reply mate It's that long since I posted this that I've gone & got a (proper) Webley Longbow - went for the self contained option. It's a nice a
  20. I am looking to buy an air-rifle in the next few weeks. Having not shot one since my youth (many moons ago ) I was hoping for some advice as to what may suit best. I have looked at some BSA's - Supersport, Lightning & others including Daystate Harrier, Theoben Fenman. My main requirements are accuracy & power. Noise a consideration also as will use for vermin control - would this go against the springers? Any help & advice greatly appreciated
  21. Jacko Keep trying mate, they can only say no. Look in the Yellow Pages or Yell.com. I have been into around 6 - 8 butchers in last few days with around 50% success rate; some look at you like you are some kind of tit & tell you what your dog can & can't have, if they won't accept it - no problem, their loss. Those who are happy to help have just gained a new customer for their everyday wares. Don't give up
  22. I probably got the link off your website Lee
  23. I widened the net a bit this morning, tried a few butchers (in Ormskirk/Aughton, Lee - I take it you know the area?) some mixed results as expected, but one chopped some good lamb necks off there & then & said he will get & keep "plucks" etc for me, another gave me loads including liver, meat, ribs etc & said he will keep his stuff back for me - freeze it until I come next week as he bones at different times. Also found a meat wholesaler which was shut, but I'll try next week. Reckon I've now gor a month's food in the freezer & more in fridge for nothing except the cost o
  24. I know there are a few, like me, just starting out with RMB's; I have found a website that lists butchers etc from around the country who can supply what's needed: www.ukrmb.co.uk Clik on "Feed for Health" & "Suppliers" Should prove useful
  25. If you click on his profile you'll find it there mate - its very informative :thumbs-up:
