  18. well done pal, the pup has abit of fire in it for its age and i hope it makes the grade for what you want from it, BUT hepher has a very good point and im with him on this one, i prefer to allow a pup to see live quarry when its ready so it learn the ropes first hand cos it could just try to be a hero when it does come accross a live one and it mite just get a big shock each to there own thou, atb,

  22. Same here, grandfather lived off land. My fathers not bothered so has skipped one generation but my son is very bloodthirsty.(bit scarey really) you cant beat taking the young uns with you to learn the ropes, ive a 6 yr old lad that loves the game aswell and seen most things i get up to, but i cringe when its parents evening thou keep em at it
  23. well im self taught but i think my interest in fieldsports must of come from my grandfather as no one else in the family is into it, with my grandfather been an old paddy and the story's he told me about what he got up to in Ireland in his younger days before he came over here was very interesting, so as you do my first thing was a ferret then from there onto bigger things, or it could of also been from an old ancestor that did 6mth in shovel in 1850 for a poaching offense that my brother found out last year doing the family tree if this hasnt got anything to do with the topic then sorry
