  1. ive been back today and had another good doo at them, a good 40 plus again, mainly the young uns that are not too strong on wing as the adults are too clever for us with only 3 adults been shot, think weve another day at them to be had before there strong enough to stay up,
  2. VERY TIDY LOOKING DOG YOU HAVE THERE ALLI, ATB WITH HIM FOR NEXT SEASON,
  3. i bred that dog ,thought i was getting it back some decent lad he is wont even answer the phone to me. pal sames happened to me but through a accidental mating in which 1 pup survived and i gave it away to a (pal) on the strength that it came back to me if he parted with it, its now been sold, it looks a tidy terrier and if the lads bought it in good faith then the very best of luck to him and the dog,
  4. answer to the pm's, the stock of the gun broke just under the scope on the thinnest part of the stock, i bodged it up to hide it as i only used it round a farm to shoot the odd long tail, its a fairly powerful gun, sorry but its pick up only as to be honest i havnt the time to mess about sending it, there suppose to be a good gun and on another site one was sold for £150 but that one was ok, the guns free but just want what i gave for scope, theres realy no point me taking scope of to give the gun away as ive no use for the scope then,
  5. bare with me to the ones who pm'd me, the gun is £35 for the scope i paid, and no im not willing to take the scope of and give the gun away cos then what do i want with a scope,
  6. best way pal, tell no f****r, those little spots that hasnt been touched mite hold some nice ones, i use to know of a place just like that which held some monsters in and it was only about 3ft deep and very silted up place, i use to love going there and would of loved to take my son cos you was almost guaranteed a good un but i showed someone like a knob only for him to take someone else and so on, then it turned into some thing like you'd see on a match, heres what i use to catch, atb but for f**k sake keep it to yourselfs, let us know how you get on, firstly i aint a f****r, and second

  8. well i say free, what it is, is that this gun was dropped on the floor and the but of the stock broke of, i priced a new stock and was told £50 to £60 for one, as i just used it for shooting the odd rat i thought ide bodge it and camo taped it up, im willing to give the gun away but theres a scope on it, i paid £35 second hand for the scope, so thats what im wanting for the gun, then who ever wants it and decides to replace the stock they've a gun for around £90 quid, or if your just like me and not botherd you'll have one for £35, its pick up only and its in west yorkshire,

  10. whilst out today looking for a murdering vixen but didnt end up finding her we decided to look to see how the rooks were getting on and found that alot had left the nest but wasnt too strong on wing and after a while they had to come back down, we only had 2 boxes of cartridges but still ended up with 40 plus and a squirrel to boot, so itle be a trip back there in the next day or two, has anyone else had any luck at them and are they a week or so early to leave the nest ?

  15. i was looking other wk as i had 3 light Sussex go broody but when you look at the postage cost it starts to get a bit pricey and specially if theres not a good hatch rate, i ended up finding when the nearest live stock auction was on and this time of year there were loads of different types of breeds to pick from, ended up getting a dozen of show light sussex and a dozen ko shamo's for £3, all eggs so far look ok but ile find out in 8 days time, atb

  23. heres a similar pic of one of those on that link, nuttall gave it to me about 5 yr since, does anyone know how any offspring of one of his other dogs (buster) turned out like, i used him over a bitch i had and kept a bitch pup back but she didnt realy make the grade plus i got a dog pup of him also out of him but that didnt make the grade either, like in any other breed, im not slagging him in any way as im a fan of the nuttall stamp and think nuttall himself has done alot for the working terrier and is also a gent to meet and makes you welcome, just curious,
