  1. I am getting up early to go to gun shop Davy ,hopefully he can sort it for me .I know its a person fault ,just wish that person wasn't me so I could blame someone else for hurting my new gun.
  2. Good evening Gents,I'm new to the airgun forum and to airgunning. Have been using an old Webley Vulcan .22 for the past few months and decided I wanted to upgrade to a PCP. Well today I treated myself to a Logun S16,despite the very helpful man in the shop warning me about double loading the barral and blocking it and me trying my best not to do this ,after 2 mags worth of shooting I did manage to block the barrel. I cant even get the mag out now. Didn't want to force it,so will be sheepishly goin back to shop tomorrow and see if he can unblock it and possibly show me how to do same. He did
  3. went to the show the day for the first time, it was excellent. shame the weather wasn't. Lots of crackin dogs and exhibitors.
  4. You're doing the right things, really hope you find your dog pal.
  5. Hi bb, I live just down the road from you and I feed my patterdale raw food. Every 8 weeks I go to Bolams In Sedgefield and spend about a tenner. Ideally you want a wee chest freezer to help store the food. My dog loves it, and I like to see him crunch up a chicken wing in about a minute. ATB KOT

  7. Awright Jasper. I've just started shooting air rifles again and i've got an old Webley Vulcan. Just joined a local shooting club and after learning the basics about setting up my scope , I am happy with the results of this rifle. Put it this way, it is more accurate than me at the moment. I'm saving up for a newer second hand rifle the now , don't really know if I want to get a pcp or a better springer. But lovin practising with this trusty old thing while i make my mind up what kind of gun I want and to see if I can get any permission. ATB KOT
  8. Excellent report ,felt like i was there reading that pal.
  9. Awright Beesty. My patterdale had the same problem. Tried shouting no , when we caught him but it became a race to see who could reach the jobbie 1st .me or the dog. I started cutting up pineapple slices and adding them to the dogs food with a wee bit of juice. He loved it. It also had the desired effect. He stopped eating his turd. he would have a sniff but then turn away. I think its got something to do with the pineapple does something to the flavour of the dogs brown stuff that the dog dislikes.
  10. Awright Tim. have a look at reggaeman's posts. Looks like him and his pals do the business. I'm new to airgunning and I always enjoy reading about their shoots. Atb

  12. Hi mate. I am no expert, but when training my 7 month old Patterdale on his recall I would call him while waving my arms and doing funny voices, I looked like a tool but it got his attention . When he did come back I would sometimes give him a treat and other times let him have a rag on his rope . If he ignored me i would walk away in the other direction and reward him and make a fuss when he came running back to me. Try to be more appealing than whatever else the dog is doing. I can now use a whistle or sometimes hand signals to get my dog to heel. I am learning and so is the dog. I took a

  14. I ordered drontal plus off of Viovet on the web at about 2 o'clock on tues afternoon , I received them the next day . Well impressed . They take paypal too , I think I'll check out hyperdrug too.
  15. I was going to say colitis aswell mate. does his crap have a mucus type layer over it sometimes or look like it's in a bag? I'd let the vet have a look. my old german shepard had it, i was recommended chappie dog food because of the rice and other stuff in it . This helped slightly, but i changed to barf and this helped a lot.
