  1. only just started using AAField ,and they are giving excellent results.
  2. went up to my permission this morning for a mooch about this mornin. Not many crows about where i could get to them, did manage to get a woody on the way down to fields.Quite a good shot for me as i tracked the bird landing in tree then took quick shot and got it right in the neck.Bird fell from tree and twitched a few times then was stone dead by the time i nearly ripped ma baws (knackers)off by jumping the barbed wire fence.so i was off to a good start for a change.I hung the pigeon on fence for collection on way back to car.Mooched about for some crows in the usual places but none were found

  13. After another blank day on my permission no crows been about for a week.Think they figured out that every time they landed certain places ,some got dead.will need to give it a wee break or come up with a strategy. plus point, the farmer said he hasn't seen as many crows about recenly,so means Ive started to do what was asked in the first place. My acme crow call isn't bringing them in ,they just answer back.Anyway ,was walking back from trying a new area out when i nearly stood on a rabbit, needless to say it bolted But i'm happy, only seen Hare's up till now.I have ordered a new lamp for my gun
  14. Hi Jasper.nice clean looking kill. I shot a hare a few weeks ago but didn't put a post up about it as was on another site and some guy was getting abused left right and centre for shooting one with an airgun. I looked up to try to find it on general license ,it looks quite a grey area. Then read it wasn't a pest and was in decline, not on my permission,I've seen a fair few. Then i read it might have young leverits that it has in various places that it could still be feeding.Gulp Started feeling a wee bit guilty, don't know if the oppurtunity came again if i would take it. On saying that I a

  21. Awright everyone.Been shooting crows,Jackdaws and Magpies at my 1st permission for bout 6 weeks now with my air rifle..I go dressed like my avator ,build a hide with a net and have some decoys. My question is can the birds be getting used to me?The reason i ask is that they used to do things like clockwork.^ am have a fly overhead to have a look about, don't see me so land on barn roof en mass, then onto cow coral then onto ground to feed.I'm talkin lines of birds.I shot threm at these locations from all different places. But then they stopped landing on the roof then stopped laning on cowpen
