We not in a hurry to start I suppose we just looking forward to it, but I see your points about spending time with the ferrets and getting to know them and get them to feel comfortable , and only getting out what you put in. My mate will be keeping them in his garden then shed in the winter, so he will get more chance to bond with them haha!     Evening all, Me an my mate are wanting to start ferreting this winter , he used to do it when he was younger and I have only been out the once a few years back. We have got hutch and run, I'm looking into getting some purse nets from anyone local or after reading the pinned post on here, some of the guys that make,sell and post from this site. I have a couple of questions just now and will probably think of more when I'm more awake. 1st question is, if we go out and get 2 young hob kits , say 12 weeks old, when would we be able to introduce them to hunting rabbits?     Cheers ,but i dont think anything is wrong with it,more like i'm doing it wrong.I defo won't be messing about with it ,considering what it cost. Forgot to mention the cylinder wasn't oattached to the gun at the time.would this make a differance? Maybe just too used to using the buddy bottle on the S16.

    Hi Guys hope someone can help. I Just got a brand new Hw100s yesterday. When using the quick fill adapter to try and fill cylinder,it is not reaching 200 bar,and air seems to be escaping from the tiny hole on the underside of the cylinder(the gun one).I took the black plug out and fully inserted the quick fill adapter and tried to fully pressureise upto 200 bar ,but it only reaching bout a 150 bar. Any ideas why it comes out this tiny hole? cheers for looking.

    I use the acme and it is frightening sometimes when every crow in the area responds to your call and they swoop and circle overhead making an almighty racket. I Cup a hand over thee end and open it while blowing.Also when blowing into it bite the end slightly and blow like you are clearing your throat of guitar or an itch.(every word i typed there sounded like it was from a dodgy sex education vid) Until you get the back of throat blow it sounds like a gay duck.

    Hi Tony I'm after a new scope,but unfortunately i want to try a milldot too.Using a bushnell sportsman 3x12 x40 ao i believe. Did you find the milldots help you improve your shooting and with holdover and adjusting for wind etc. Zini recommended a hawkwe one for about 50 odd quid,will need to dig up that post.     Awright mate,i always fill mine to 200 bar.I try to top it up after every hunt or sometimes just leave bottle connected if i am going back out same or next evening. Have you just got the gun? regards kot

    Excellent idea with the quality street wrappers,and i get the bonus of eating some chocs too. Will try this till i get something more permanant.Will need to take some spare quality street ...just in case of emergency,emergency being me needing some food!! acetate,thats the bloody word mate,was wracking my brains for ages,just couldn't remember what it was called. will look into they filters on that link you sent Tony,they look just the jobbies i need.     I seen in Airgun mag a while back about making own filters for lamp using some kind of red plastic sheet from art shop .Has anyone done similar or know what material should be used? Cheers for reading,hope someone can help. also looking into buying filter for my tactical lamp online if i can find correct ones. Atb marti
