Hi All, Does anyone know of a field target club somewhere between Stoke on Trent and Irlam in Manchester? I have looked on a couple of websites but can't find anything in my area. Thanks for your help.

Hi Folks, This may sound dumb but heregoes. My neighbour has just given me a couple of Mallards for my dog, the question is What do I do with them? I will feed one to our dog tomorrow but the other will need to be frozen. I am planning to cut head and feet off and pluck them. Do I need to gut them, especially the one to be frozen? If so how do I do this? Our dog has been eating raw meaty bones including half chickens since she was about 16 weeks old so is used to this type of food. All help appreciated. ps did not ask my neighbour as he just thinks I will throw the whol

I am very new to this sport and am about to ask what you might consider a dumb question...but here goes! What do you do with the dead rats?

I have seen this method used on Dog Borstal and thought I was copying it but it didn't seem to work for me. I now realise that I was doing it in the street and not a wide open space. I will resume this training method out in the open.

I don't feed our dog any commercially available dog food, she has been on a BARF diet since she was about 14 weeks old and is thriving on it. She is now 2yrs old and last week went for her booster jabs and check up at the vet, the vet could not stop telling us how well the dog looked, shiny coat, clean teeth, bright eyes, perfect weight, etc, etc.

I will watch this topic with interest as my 2yr old springer still pulls but as soon as I stop she circles straight back to my side. Our walks consist of quite a lot of stops!!! :11:

The Terrano is better than most people give them credit for, best one is the 2.7 TDi. Plenty of room in the LWB and reasonably refined. Mine is the 2.4i petrol with lpg conversion. I do a lot of road miles all over the country and get 30+mpg on petrol and 21+ on lpg, this equates to about 14p per mile on petrol and 11p per mile lpg.

Thanks for all the welcomes, what is the best way to get started? All advice welcome.

Hello Everyone, Newbie here! I have gradually got interested in the sport as my English Springer Spaniel has grown from an 8 week old pup into an intelligent 2 year old dog. I would love to get her Gundog trained and be able to go shooting with her. I would think that my quarry would be rabbits which would provide a great source of food for my dogs...I now have a 6 year old rescue Working Cocker as well. Cheers Chris.
