We are hoping to have a food stall, other types of stalls such as hunting equipment. The events will be the usual judging and racking. There will be rings for lurcher, terrier and gun dogs. We will even have a ferret ring. So tell all your mates. I will post the date as soon as I have confirmed. whats gonna be there mate?i mean like stalls and events.

The west lothian working dog association will have one this year. This will be our first. We are hoping to have ours the day after the Bathgate highland games. Will confirm in due course. Come along and support. Kev

We at Bathgate Pet and Feild Sport Supplies are interested in starting our own Lurcher and Terrier club, to Which we would like see grow into our own annual show. We have support from our local council and other business people within the Town. If anyone is interested, please either call into the shop on Northbridge Street or let us know via this post.

I understand the kick back. But literally, Yes. Things have to be in place. Where there is food being served for sale, yes. You technically should posses a R.H.H.S certificate. Yes. you should be providing Toilets and more. It's all part of health and safety, there has been plenty of deaths and injury, also law suits caused through Ignorance. I could go on. thats the last I am saying. The NL&RC make sure all these things are in place before the even do or get involved in a show. Regards.

Fair enough Tam. I know the lad judging didn't have any brindles, but enough comments were made with regards the amount that was picked. I had one that was picked, fairs fair. there was a lot of tiger stripes being picked. think about it. On the Toilet, I am sure there was a risk assesment made with regards running the show and the public liability Insurance was paid. This would help with the injuries that could have happened if someone got hurt falling down the hill whilst they were squating. there is no prizes for not following to Health and Safety procedure for holding events. It's

Saturday's show was good, Good to see you there Den, Yesterdays show was crap. Should have went to Dunns. If you had a brindle dog, you had a chance. Prefer your Judging, you are constructive not negative. Me and Jimmy had a good conversation about that, all good Den.
