    I have a red merle she cant take the heat, if we go out she has to stay on the lead or she is f... with in ten min, I have to say it is worrying me abit as I would like to start her road work to make her fit, but she could not take it in this heat, and we do have the summer to come as yet, So to get her fit for the winter is a worry,The only thing I can think off is going out later at night

    Hi, try a saddlers or horse supplier. They should have elasticated bandages, come in all sizes & colours. They wrap round & stick so you can still take your dog out & it can run with it on. Some people use them all the time as prevention. I'll be doing this this season Good Luck N.S

    Now how you feel I have a 3/4 x 1/4 that did the same at 9 months old, she is coming up to 10 1/2 months and a last she is starting to look around more, in doing this she is working better,also happy in herself good luck

    Have you thought about going to your local paper and see if they will do a story on it. One to bring it to the attention of others as a danger as you say it could have been kids out playing Or write to you local MP I would not sit on it there would be no harm in trying good luck
