    Well 2008 has started well for me. Got my FHH and she was spot on 1Lb 15 oz as I expected. Took the Wife along on this occassion to get some shots & see if Tilly was distracted or focused on me. Went to a nearby school playing field. Had her on th the creance to start & sent her of to a goal post and called her back. No problems & she stayed fixed on me, straight to the fist. So, I cut the creance leaving approx 10 mtrs. Off into a tree this time but back gracefully. At this point I was sure it was time to let her free ,so off came the creance and swivle. She was FREE.     Other The Moon: Got my FHH flying on the creance 60 mtrs, in open fields. Flying weight was 1lb151/2 oz. Good response from her Finished the flying with one full chick on the fist. Do the same again tomorrow, if the same response then at the week-end hope to fly her free. And to top all that she had a bath! At last. Happy New Year to you all N/S

    As you may be aware I am on the quest for a Collie/Greyhound for a protegee. I've been offered a 50x50 CG. Both parents proven & I know the breeder. Q] Opinions on 50x50 CG please for rabbitting & occassional fox. Stamina,training & obedience. Can we confine this to straight forward opinion & not and up in argument amongst each other.

    Have to say I think it's the best time to get a pup. By the time they are ready for walking etc the nights are longer and when they are in the pain in the arse stage it is summer . I agree with you both, but taking on a puppy at any time can be hard work
