    KESTREL, OR COMMON BUZZARD, Buzzard, you have more weight to play with. I learnt with a Kestrel, then a Common Buzzard, then a Spar, then moved onto a RedTail. But I fly a a female Harris Hawk at the moment.

    I first want to say how much I enjoy this forum & I really appreciate what is available. Ian does a fantastic job. On the subject of the cost of running it, I don't want to appear a misery or a skin-flint as I am more than happy to pay an annual charge. If there is a charge everyone has to pay. The auction idea is good but then it is only those that either sell or buy or both, who contruibute. Others can carry on making the most of the forum at no expense. From looking at the star system for those who donate it would seem there would end up a minority paying for a majority. There
