    Gave Rose a spell away from the pup's this morning,I'm surprised she's still tending to them to be honest..had ourselves a wander up the mountains, weather was atrocious,rain,wind & to top it off fog/mist which reduced visibility to at best 20 yard's at time..don't be fooled by the pics as a camera lens can cut through fog many many times better than the human eye. So,all in all it was just 5 hour's hiking in the rain on steep slippy granite & in knee deep bog with no views whatsoever.     Sire is about 27tts maybe just over that,the dam is about 26tts matey..sire 35.55kg..dam 31kg

    Cheers matey,he's a really nice pup to be fair,laid back as they come..there was a pup out of Boots almost identical to this chap around 8 year's ago now,it made a tidy looking dog in the end..this is him here

    My pups at 4 weeks & a day old..the little bitch has the pink collar on the remaining 6 pups are all males.

    Yeah I remember those day's myself matey,madness really when you look back isn't it,embarrassing being honest but that's just how it was wasn't it.

    Brought Rose in the house today to give her a spell off the pups,I've also got them in here,just put the fire on & parked them up in front of it,they've been loving it to be fair to them,clipped their nails & put them a collar each on.. two weeks old today,we've currently got 70mph + winds here & although they have a heat lamp & a heater in their kennel I just thought I'd let them be nice & toasty in here today whilst this Storm Ashley is upon us.

    The middle image is the only female amongst them,she's very much like her dam but has a much denser coat on her at least at the moment she does anyway.

    Puppies today at 13 day's old..coming along great,just opening their eyes for the first time today too..

    Without splitting too many hair's regarding the breeding of these pups they won't be too much unlike either parents to be honest..they will still be the same 5/8 Grey as both parents with these being 3/32 Bull & 6/16 Saluki .. Rose

    Remaining 3 dogs pup's, hopefully have them eating within another week..soon as their eyes are open I have them on solids,can still get a top up off Rose as & when required though

    Pups were 8 day's old yesterday..first 3 are dog pup's & the last one is the sole bitch in the litter..very happy with them just now.

    Here's mum Rose too on this afternoon's wander over the beach,she seems to be doing well & so far is doing a grand job tending to her puppies,hope things continue in the same vain.

    Three more of the puppies ..the calm before the storm,I love them until their eyes open then the little terrors stress me right out

    One of my pups this morning,just over 2 day's old .. really happy with them,old Rose decided she would join us this morning on our wanders too,she has barely eaten anything for almost 3 day's now so hopefully she'll be back at it from today & get herself fuelled back up.

    Thanks Phil..no doubt whichever it is that remains here will outlive me but I'm sure my lads will carry the blood of these dog's forward for many year's to come..Rose looks like she's found the one she likes the best already,she will pick it up gently & lay it by her face & or neck as soon as it's been fed, favouritism at it's best Phil

    Sadly on going into see Rose & the puppies this morning one of the two bitches had died at some point through the night. Since I started out with dog's I've only bred a few litters of pups & in those litters I'd never lost a single puppy but I've unfortunately lost two within hour's in this litter. It's quite gut wrenching to be honest,poor thing's could of had a great life in front of them,alas not & I guess it is what it is. The remaining pups all seem to be looking great & feeding fantastically well as they approach their first 24 hours of life, hopefully we have no more set

    Rose had her pups yesterday,we have 8 of the little blighters,6 dog's & 2 bitches..was a stressful day for both Rose & I that's for sure haha. She was so stressed & unrestful it wasn't a pleasant watch & or experience for her,she removed all her bedding & decided to have her pups on the bare wood of her kennel bottom,not exactly what one would ideally want but that was her choice. I had to switch off the heating & heat lamp as she was so warm,at one point she even went to have her pups on the concrete floor where it was cooler..anyways after having them I got her bed cl
