  1. I use the malt paste vitamin stuff by Beaphar, great for distracting them if you need them still for any length of time.
  2. Do I need to starting posting pictures of a great big pair of sweaty bollocks again?
  3. Theydont like heat, as long as they have plenty of DRY straw or hay for bedding they stay nice and toasty. Change water bottles morning, noon and night.
  4. Nope. Their prey drive, and rabbit's inherent fear of fast moving things with teeth is why we work them. Otherwise all ferrets would bolt rabbits, rather then the differing qualities of working ability. smell is as important to the ferret as its teeth are, it uses it as we would use our facial expressions, have you not ever smelt an aggitated ferret scent is a very, very big part of most animals lives But rabbits don't bolt because of the smell, that was the original statement. its possible mate, ive had rabbits in nets in the past from just a terrier digging at a hole.so they can bol

  7. Plenty of meat, a little bit of "cat milk" will help keep her condition up and top up her calcium levels - but not normal milk as the lactose is Jo good for them. Other than food and cleaning out shit, leave well alone until at least 7 days old. Even then don't poke about unless the jill is out feeding, and rub your hands in the shavings/straw out of the hutch to cover your scent.

I'd make damn sure they knew it was for a vasectomy beforehand, I'd even get it in writing on a quote. If you haven't got that as proof then there's not a lot you can do.
  10. Best thing for them. The only thing I do is pull the crop out in case they've been on ivy or some other berries, but that's personal preference.
  11. Stick to the advice of BADA.org, they specialise in tick related diseases.
  12. Here we go again. Read the stickies, don't believe the old wives tales... NEVER put anything on a tick, use a tool. Even frontline doesn't go on the tick itself.
  13. Nice looking kits. Love the Jill too, something about a mucky face that makes them look better...
  14. Too much salt in pork raw bbelly pork isnt salted or cured Pork in its raw form is a very salty meat anyway through it's natural composition of minerals etc.
  15. Dark poley hob kits, 9 weeks old. Free to good, knowledgeable, responsible home. From exceptional working parents, fed on mix of flesh and dry for best start in life. Wirral/Cheshire area.
  16. I'd concentrate on getting a hutch that's big enough for at least one ferret before getting another...
  17. Is that a little bit like the time I bought my wife a new spade, or are they really for him?
  18. Cow milk's no good for ferrets, they can't hack the lactose. Let us know what the vets says.
  19. At 6/7 weeks they shouldn't need the food soaking anyway. ????????????????????????? The original post states that the two litters of kits are 6 and 7 weeks old. By that age they do not need the food soaking.

  21. You feeding them shotgunned quarry?
  22. I'll admit that I'm usually one of the first to jump in and call someone out. In this instance Id rather have 10 honest lads like Sam having a go and making a couple of mistakes than 1 of the EU/micro/muzzle/dock/file teeth/ no locator jokers that try and pass on their dumb misconceptions.
