    We consider that anyone whose dog wins a major championship has the right to enjoy that win and not have the win 'picked over' on social media by people many of whom were not even present. As I have said we have had an objection system in place for several years whereby anyone actually present at the event can make a formal complaint at the event by putting down £50 or €50. If the complaint is upheld the deposit is returned if not the money goes to charity BUT the idea is the matter is settled there and then and the winner can go on and enjoy their win.     Wrong again Gunnar. The trolls started firstly with an attack on the judges of the lurchers and terriers, then attacks on the dogs - an allegation that the winning lurcher was lame and the terrier wasn't qualified. The worst troll, who accuses me of cheating in the Five Nations every year is still going on about it. He is banned from our events for trying to get my security manager and me arrested for 'kidnapping' him and his friends and then posting a totally defamatory account of the incident including about me being abusive and swearing at him and his friends.     Gunnar, Two and two make four not five! The 'silence' was purely because I haven''t been using HL because we were being trolled by people we have banned from the fairs because of their conduct. We had made a statement on facebook about the unsporting attacks on our 2019 championship winners.     We have had a lot of individuals wanting to come across from GB to compete in the Championships. Unfortunately we don't do invitations you have to qualify. Take up of qualifiers has been slow this year so if you are interested in qualifying for our championships why not ask your local show to run a qualifier.

    There was a great atmosphere at this charity show for Autism Initiatives NI. I was delighted to meet Mel Patterson( Brother of well known spaniel handler Aidan) whose son is one of the young adults who will benefit from the show. Also to find that one of my fellow judges was non other than Jamesie Toal at one stage a fine retriever handler but also a long time terrier owner and fancier. Margaret will be doing a full report on the event but a few photos that capture the happy family atmosphere. Best wishes were sent to John McStay who is just out of hospital. 1. Mel & Micky wearing

    I hope Micky's hard work in getting sponsorship for this event pays off with ALL proceeds going to a worthwhile NI charity.     Thanks to those who PMed me to admire the trophies we have presented to be retained by the winners of the three 2018 Champion of Champions. We thought we would try to acquire quality trophies for what should be a really prestigious event. The Terrier Trophy is a heavyweight vintage bronze trophy; the Lurcher Trophy was previously presented to the winner of a 2004 race at Hall Green and is a real stunning trophy and the whippet trophy is a smart head mounted on marble.

    We are very happy to support Micky's event for a very worthwhile charity Many families including our own work with children who have autism. We are providing quality antique trophies to be kept by the owners of the three 2018 Show Champion of Champions and in association with Janet Duke coats for the racing winners. We are also sponsoring dog food prizes in association with Feedwell Dog Food. This should be a superb 'end of season' event which deserves your support.

    I know two people allegedly involved in the alleged incident but not the third who I understand has recently come to NI. I have known both for several years but I am not close friends with either. One has helped on occasions with the racing at the fair, along with several other people who would not be considered 'part of the 'Game Fair team'. The other was helpful in suggesting and facilitating UK judges. As I said I was not present at the event, where the alleged incident took place nor had I any connection with the event and like you I didn't see the incident. So i prefer not to spec

    I wish to make it clear to Marydoll - who it would appear to be a man masquerading again in 'women's clothing' - that I had absolutely nothing to do with this alleged incident or indeed the show where it is alleged to have taken place. So I cannot for the life of me understand why I should get a mention in his latest tirade. Just like him I wasn't at the show and didn't see what happened AND unlike him I don't operate on the basis of hearsay. or make ill informed comments. And of course this could well be viewed as the 'pot calling the kettle black.'!

    If you intend to try to qualify for one of the two big race finals or one of the three Five Nations Showing Finals to be staged at the 40th Anniversary ALL IRELAND GAME FAIR at Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 23/24 June PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE SHOW YOU ARE GOING TO HAS QUALIFIERS FOR THESE FINALS. It is disappointing if your dog wins a championship and you find you haven't qualified. We cannot grant qualifying status retrospectively.

    Please note other than the Master McGrath and Mick the Miller racing finals and the Five Nations Whippet, Lurcher and Terrier Championships all races and show classes for the 30th Annual ALL Ireland Championships at Shanes Castle are entry 'on the day'. You can have a final chance to qualify for the Five Nations Finals as the Champion or Res Champion in the show at Shanes.
