Fired 25 carts before i bought it and it never jammed! am currently arround the 75 cartridge mark now and still no jamming. (it was second hand EX-DEMO model) Stripped it and rebuilt it today this is a crutial part of any gun with large actions and alot of moving parts!!!!!!!!! OIL CLEAN OIL CLEAN OIL CLEAN OIL CLEAN elvolcan be very careful if you plan on having a reliable low maintenance gun forget it. Semi-auto's can be very good guns but you
  8. good story mate its worth the time sitting down and writin your accounts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Yeah thats what I'll need it for in the future, protecting crops, but for now it'll be just for some clay shooting, so I can practice lots. It needs to be in black synthetic. Why is the escort a pile of shite? It has a 3 year no quibble warranty so if I dont think its any good , I can just return it. Also it needs to be semi auto , over and under wont cut it, as for future use it will be upgraded to an 8 shot FAC for protecting crops. Midland gun comapny for sale on this site in Glasgow!!! dont know why you would go through the trouble of FAC shotgun's if you have a lot
  10. VERY TRUE got loads of Crows by us and you would need a pair of O/U and a reloader LOL
  11. i think that its not a pistol till you cut the stock off!! not sure?????????????????
  12. got a good deal no my 2 wont go on about it but have a look on my topics if you want to see how i got my Midland gun company semi synthetic and a pump. both do exactly what i want both come to the sholder so quick first 2 rabbit were at full pelt when i cracked them MY BEST SHOTGUN SHOTS EVER SO FAR.
  13. to true i take it you have your SGC i have a Midland gun company semi and it is great have shot O/U and i think that for what i do its great but if you only want to bust clay O/U i think would be better for you. have you shot many shotguns? P.S semi's bite !!!!!
  14. just been doing some google work and i can see your point from the write ups. the .17hmr case is basicly a .22 load with a .17 bullet. you can see how the muzzle velocity would be so much different! Yes its a difficult one like you say good and bads from both sides. what in your opinion is the chance of adding a .22lr at a later date as fox is someting i will be wanting to tackle.
  15. so the higher muzzle energy of the .17hmr would be viewed as much the same as a .22lr in police terms?
  16. I would like to apply for my FAC in the next few months but should i start small (.17) and then move towards a .22 or .223 or should i bang them all on and see what they will let me have P.S not had my SGC for long will this look odd or go against me?
  17. dont know your setup but get down thw pub give them away but dont waste them!!!!!!!!!! have you ever had rabbit or you dont want the hassle? not having a go just wondered use the rabbit to your advantage if you have snared them they will be good for the butcher as no body damage if you dont want money swap them for beef chicken pork what ever you can get!!!!!!!!
