    Was looking at getting an escort but found a Midland by chance got a good deal and could take it onto the clubs traps before i used it!!     Yeah thats what I'll need it for in the future, protecting crops, but for now it'll be just for some clay shooting, so I can practice lots. It needs to be in black synthetic.     to true i take it you have your SGC i have a Midland gun company semi and it is great have shot O/U and i think that for what i do its great but if you only want to bust clay O/U i think would be better for you. have you shot many shotguns? P.S semi's bite !!!!!

    just been doing some google work and i can see your point from the write ups. the .17hmr case is basicly a .22 load with a .17 bullet. you can see how the muzzle velocity would be so much different! Yes its a difficult one like you say good and bads from both sides. what in your opinion is the chance of adding a .22lr at a later date as fox is someting i will be wanting to tackle.

    I would like to apply for my FAC in the next few months but should i start small (.17) and then move towards a .22 or .223 or should i bang them all on and see what they will let me have P.S not had my SGC for long will this look odd or go against me?

    I had a Colt Ridge runner skinner and lost it 2 week ago it was a smashing knife felt great to use!!!! might not be for you though it was a fixed blade a am not a big fan of lock knives! have a look you could pick one up for 30 quid cant get a picture on sorry
