Went out today with the ferret last day went on a farm we had not been on for sometime and it was bloody full of young rabbits running around so out came the gun had some birds and 2 adult bunnies so not bad. Cheers Andy

i use straw and shavings get it in large bails for around 6.00 and it lasts forever -
Ok I know the forum will be over run with ferrets soon but I am on the look out for 2 jills would like them to be around 12 months old and been worked or from working parents. I am in Cheshire and can travel within reason. Cheers Andy

Thanks for the feedback the place we went was over run with the things holes all over the place not been ferreting for some time it was just someone asked me on due to no one in this shoot having a ferret and i only have 1 hob so it looks like i will be getting some more got 400 acres to cover. Which are the best locators after yesterday i wont be going out without one again thanks for the comments lads Cheers Andy

Hi all just a quick question for you i know its hard to say but how long do you think a ferret should take to do a good size warren done some today 15 to 20 hole warrens and he was under for 45 minutes before he came back out and i was only working one ferret. Cheers Andy

Seems like a have some rats at the back of my garage i dropped a tree 12 months ago and they seem to be living under the tree and hard core and i think they are coming from of the hedge over the fence. They seem more active around 14.00 seen 8 of the buggers today from baby to adult got one with the rifle but they wont go near the traps. So is anyone in Tameside or Manchester with a dog or two near me who could pop round for an hour or two and i will sort you out with some nice free range eggs and a brew for your time thing is i have 2 te of corn near by but they have not touched it just wa
