  11. theres lamping and driving the mud as said which is not the way to do it all that hanging on the side of a motor thats no good and just shows they dont know what they are doing ,i use the lamp and drive at the same time and dont have people hanging off the side of motors or telling what to do that way you can control things alot better and try to get the dogs out when its safe and not when some idot just chucks them out

  13. thats when they were in season.. and the crops made it more difficult for the dogs, feel free to answer for him why it makes them easier to catch.. and therefore in some way less fair on th you tell me whats so hard about running deer when the crops are up

  15. ive seen a few big dogs that are 28 and above run on the bigger quarry they are good if they get hold and can be quite fast but alot of them need a big field and they loose out on the turn ,where a smaller dog can turn alot better and get back to the quarry alot quicker and kill it where the big dog can loose it because the quarry has gained to much ground and hit the woods or hegde
  16. there,s two types of protein ,the protein in raw is ok, the protein in say a bag of dog food that is made with gluton and wheaton can be harmfull to dogs
  17. I hate it myself, can't be doing with dogs bundling out of windows or dogs running upside of motors as it's a accident waiting to happen imo.I have a subaru and do have permission to drive some different land but i walk it myself 99.9% of the time as i find myself just worrying about the dogs to much to enjoy the hunting. there driving and theres driving i dont like chucking dogs out of the window and i like to slow right down when the dogs go out to many injurys ,im not in it to ruin my dogs just love to see them run
  18. when driving you can give your dog more runs and depending on what you run , what i normally run its an average of 3 to 4 mins and you can have has many of them you like if your dog is up to it and they can be only short breaks in bewteen the runs so your dog needs to be fit to recover better
  19. ive been lamping for years and done the walking bit and still do with pups to get them going , the ones on here that say driving is cheating or doesnt get your dogs fit are full of shit and dont know what they are talking about . i love driving ,but there is driving where you get your quarry in front of you and the driver will keep turning the quarry round blocking it from its run and getting it knackered then putting the dog on it . and when its killed saying what a good dog they got .that to me aint game .me myself i like one dog to run and hes got to do it without the help of the motor ,
