    Afternoon all. Bit of a long shot really but, I was just wondering If anybody out there might have a sunshade that would definitely fit the thread of a Nikko Sterling Diamond's 42 mm front objective? Because I've recently purchased the above scope brand new at a great price, but apparently the relevant matching sunshades were only manufactured and sold a few years ago and you just can't buy them anymore. I've tried numerous gun shops that sell the Nikko range of scopes but to no avail. I even tried to fit my Vortex 42 mm front sunshade but it's the wrong screw thread size and doesn't fit. So I'm guessing that different sunshades for different makes of scopes have all got different screw threads even though their front objectives are the same size. Cheers guys. Quote Reply

    Hi guys. After doing some research on a battery that will be suitable to use with my old NS50 unit, I've found this lithium battery on eBay and It looks a good possibility. The connections look the same as Is on the NiteSite original brick battery but I'm still not certain that It will be suitable. So looking at the photo, can anybody please confirm whether this aftermarket lithium blue battery will be suitable to use with my old NS50 unit or not? The following photos show the original NiteSite brick battery and the aftermarket blue lithium battery. Cheers guys.

    Hi guys. I've just been given a .22 blank firing pistol that used to belong to my late father and I was just wondering If anybody could please give me any info about It? All I know Is that It's made In Italy and Is called a Mondial model 1960. So has anybody got any idea about the age of this pistol? On the pistol It's got written 1960, so could this be the year of manufacture? Also guys, apart from the brown handle the entire pistol Is black. So Is this legal for me to keep or not?     Thanks for the replies and Info guys. And I think that I'm definitely leaning towards the Artemis M16. The only annoying things that I've heard about that rifle Is the safety catch on the trigger, having to manually poke each pellet Into each slot In the magazine, and the supplied moderator that can't be changed due to the non standard moderator thread. But for £385 brand new, I reckon the M16 has got to be worth a shot ?

    This Is one of the reasons why I'm not sure about the RM8. Apparently there's a lot of cycling and bolt Issues on some guns. I've even heard that a few people having problems with the magazine being damaged due to being Inserted too hard.

    Hi guys. I've been looking for a decent budget price PCP In 22 calibre and I think that I've narrowed It down to 2 rifles. The Walter RM8 or the Artemis M16. Both rifles have their good and bad points, so I just thought that I'd ask for your opinions before I decide. Cheers lads.

    Hi guys. I've been Interested In buying an FX Streamline for some time now but I have a question that I'm hoping that somebody can answer for me. Basically, I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Streamlines buddy bottle Is fixed and cannot be removed. Is this true? If It Is true, has the bottle got a recomnended life span? If It has, what happens when the Streamlines buddy bottles reaches It's recommended life span and can't be used any more for safety reasons? You can't simply unscrew It and replace It with a new one.     Hi guys. After recently selling my rimfire, I now have a vertually brand new and unused Vortex 3-12x42 HP scope left over. And I'm just checking If you guys think that this scope would be suitable to use on a legal limit air rifle. Due to the fact that the parallax Is set from 30 yards to Infinity.     WTF. Can you explain that further please. Where did this source of Info come from? So are you saying that If a person doesn't have an FAC or a Shotgun certificate then they have to pay £100 per airgun? Surely not. I've got 5 airguns and there's no way I'd pay £500 that's for sure ?

    Hi all. I don't know If this just affects me but, I have just gone on the Buy, Sell or Swap forum and cannot see any way to add a post or reply to a post on any of the forums under this catagory. The green link that you usually click on that allows a post to be posted or to be replied to Is not visable. Does anybody else have this problem? All the other forums on the site seem to be unaffected, John ?
