hi just wondering how many of you went to the show. had a great day with lots going on. aces were fantastic so helpful to those of us who have not raced before. be great to see them there again.

if its a running dog some might say it will effect her turning ability just watch for infection

some breeders let them go at six weeks vets recommend collect one week after first vacc but not fully covered until one week after second however i dont isolate mine from my other dogs just try to avoid taking any of them to places where there are lots of dogs till pup is covered by vaccs however i do live in the middle of nowhere and my pups are walked from the day they arrive but as always its your call listen to everyone and make your own decision

No offence ,but you could not be more wrong. If you have a problem with a running dog that is ANYTHING out of the humdrum ,ie jabs minor ailments,ALLWAYS go to a running dog vet,like a Greyhound trainer,most Vets are general Practitioners ,who see a wide spectrum of animals ,for eg cutting the budgies beak, neutering the cat,etc.They haveNO specialist knowledge of running dogs. For Unknown injuries ,be they muscular,tendon problems

My Vet is a greyhound VET ,he does not treat anything but running dogs . I give the other vets a very wide berth, for all but the very basic of problems. A woman vet at a local practice assured me that rabbits do not harbour tape worm, after I asked for some Drontal Plus ,telling her that my dogs are fulltime workers at pest control. vets are only human and everyone is wrong sometimes. if you know they are wrong educate them but do it nicely a good vet will listen

Poor pup mine are out all day dont leave out at night cos the terriers make so much noise if there is a fox within radar range. but pups are in till weathers good and they are relaxed and settled with us they need help to settle

could also be inturned eyelids if eyes are blood shot, gently roll out eyelid and see if any eyelashes rubbing on eye. if it is can cause lots of pain and infection usually only treatment if it is is operation but depends on how bad it is. if your not sure ask someone with more know-how but be gentle

Unfortunately plenty of heart worm in this country especially in some areas i go for milbemax everytime and as for shop bought wormers they dont have the same active ingredients so dont do much at all!
