    hi kay, i use a canon eos 450d slr, most of my action shots of the dogs, birds in flight, anything with alot of fast movment realy are taken with the 70-300 lens as its a fast lens with great optics and always gives me nice clean detailed shots. now i have to point out that although i have sold alot of prints and done quite a few portraits of mates dogs for them i donot consider myself a pro in any sense, its just a hobby i have a knack for. i think more than anything practice is the key, i usualy take in excess of 300 pics when i,m out with the dogs or out mooching about and have l

    weve got bird feeders out the front garden with mealworm etc and i would say theres been a definite increas round here as there are about a dozen or so groups hanging around where we only used to get a handfull. hope this helps you.

    the green mesh at the back you can see but there is also black netting at the front but unfortunatley not that vissable on the pics. its also panneld to 3ft round the inside to discourage climbing.

    must addmit your bang on mate, my border x lakey had quite a few scars but because of her coat they were pretty hard to see at a glance, my plummer on the other hand doesnt have the heavy coat around the muzzle and will propably show scars like a beleasha beacon although he doesnt have any yet i'm sure there will be plenty to come. cheers p1

    Yep plummer1 that sounds just like BASC,atb NID. yeah i used to think they were an ok bunch nid but i dont think there to interested in the avarage joe, they preffer to wine and dine the upper echlons with there dinner parties etc, after my last encounter i lost all faith in them, as for my sgc well theres no point in flogging a dead horse and i still enjoy my sport in all the other forms, ie ferreting and my terriers.

    in as far as the law goes any conviction you have received is taken into account and its down to the enquiry officer to make his recomedation to the dcc of your local costabulary. ive only ever had one conviction and that was for vandalism in 1999 i was an acssessory after the fact, now i have put in for my sgc 3 times all to no avail the third was after speaking to basc who assured me if i was given a reffusal they would back me in an appeal as the faeo had never given me the 2 satisfactory reasons for reffusal on my previous apps.(they are requied by law to gve 2 good reasons as to

    well chaps thanks for all the feedback, i will be putting 100% into the training as i do with all my dogs, ive just booked 2 black bitches (jrtxpatt) both parents good working lines, will be picking them up around the 11th june and cant wait to get them home. i will post some picz of them when they arrive (if i ever figure out how ) thanks again people.

    There's a lot of Orc's and Goblin's in Larkhall.....it might not be middle earth but it certainly is the land that time forgot you should check out camnethan street in stonehouse mate i think its where they came up with the idea for lord of the rings.

    i'm assuming from this then haidrians wall was just an old wives tale, and not a great bloody construction programme desighned by the romans to keep the uncontrolable celts (scots) at bay. i also stand corrected.
