  1. Should be fine mate, My two jills have had litters together and have been fine they are both sisters and ive never had a problem.
  2. 38 acres thats not much but suppose over in Uk you have more rabbits in that amount of land than we do in 3 1/2 thousand acres of lands because my girlfriends parents own that much land and we've looked everywhere for rabbit warrens and there is basically nothing its ridiculous theres a couple of rabbits on there but most of them come from the paddock next door which are living in the blackberry bushes. But good luck ferreting mate and have fun. ATB Adam.
  3. Why? why shouldnt you shoot a fox with a shotgun? It can be just as effective as a rifle given the right range and the right shooter. Clearly you have no idea so don't comment if you don't.
  4. Why don't you just try whistle the fox up and shoot it with a shotgun me my mate and his dad did this we got 3 foxes and they haven't had problems with the lambs since.
  5. I was wondering do rabbits breed all year round or in the warmer months? Would like to know because i don't want to put my ferret in a warren when there are heaps of kittens for them to catch.

  8. I took my 4 month old jack russel out with my staffy and i would make him sniff around for rabbits in the paddock and she would follow him everywhere watching him and now when i take my jack russel out ( she is 6 months old now) she just does it by herself. So run your dog with another the first couple of times.
  9. I'm not growing up in a non hunt house hold my father wasn't a hunter and my mother has never done it but they don't disapprove of me doing it alot of my other relatives don't agree with it. But i agree with the last fella.
  10. hi mate, best thing to do is check the area that you hunt over, is there signs of deer activity? e.g foot prints etc. IF there is then you can start to stalk your quary. a good time to see deer is at dusk and dawn. go out with friend just to get a bit more experience that way when you go out on your own you know what to look for and will be more successful. Thank you atleast some one can be helpful.
