    Yea, I got a question, i have two other ferrets that were given to me, now they are about two years old and have never been worked before, would they be alright if i take them out? they are well handled, and don't shy away when i go to pick them up. See i've never been given ferrets of this age, i've always taken them out when they are young and taken them with another working ferret.

    Found a little warren the other day, so i decided to take my new ferret out, unfortunately there was nothing in there. But she went down and had a go and didnt shy away when i went to grab her so i reckon she did alright for her first time, might have a bit of luck tomorrow got a new place to hunt on.

    just showing the young one whos the boss mate,just watch at night the older one may not let the newbie in the nest box,not saying it will happen its just something i once came across Yea she kept dragging her in the nest box for a bit, but i went of to do something else and i come back and the young ferret was walking around the cage so there seemed to be no problems, well hopefully anyway.

    lol and i'll cop a back hander haha, yea mate i put them together and fed them they seemed fine the only problem was the female kept dragging the young one into the sleeping area, but once she was in there she left her alone.

    Got a young ferret today 13 weeks old, i have another two ferrets though a male and female and i put the young female in with them would she be alright with the other female? ive had ferrets before but have never put new ones into a cage with others and i have to keep them together temporarily, i was offered a cage today for free and a ferret for free but no the missus wouldnt bloody allow it...

    Geez by the amount of people asking for permission on here its unreal, Some of you fellas might have to come to Australia lol, plenty of farmers out here that are more than happy to let people on to ferret ive got about 30,000 acres that im aloud to hunt on. More than enough to hunt on.

    Yea the ferrets are under a shady tree during the summer with plenty of fresh water daily, and in the winter i put them out so they get sunlight all day, especially in the morning and afternoons i make sure they get the first and last rays of light. Only problem is now the ferrets are at my girlfriends brothers place and he seems to think that they are his, so i have to lock the cage, its quite funny though he said to me, " mate your ferrets are nothing but pricks all they do is bite" he must be handling them wrong because i have never once had a problem with them biting.

    I was given two ferrets and the cage for free, When i seen the male i noticed he had fur missing on his tail, The cage is entirely made of metal and wire mesh. Does anyone know what this is from?

    Geez that's stuff all, over here in Aus we have that many rabbits it's unbelievable and one of my mates went to buy one from the butchers and it was going to cost him $30

    Some blokes here in Australia will pay $5 for a pair of rabbits skinned and gutted and some of the greyhound racers will pay up to $25 for a live rabbit. There is quite a big rabbit population where i live to, not so many people hunt them here they are all into the pig hunting, so a little bit of money can be made.

    Mate use dogs, or if you don't have any let someone on to hunt them.

    That is a weird coloured rabbit. I've seen a few black rabbits and ive been told that it's a sign of a big rabbit population and i've shot a ginger rabbit before.

    I took my cousin ferreting for the first time this morning and caught 1 rabbit but it had mixo so it was no good and the second one was in the net while i was getting the one with mixo and i told my cousin to dive on it and he just stood there and watched it get out and runaway i was so dissapointed but it wass his first time so hopefully he does something next time.

    Use corn kernels, I used corn kernels and so did my two mates and we caught 67 carp in 3 days.
