Ok mate joking aside,I can't help myself sometimes.I've hunted in England with well respected terriermen and all over Ireland seen good dogs everywhere but in my opinion the Northern lads have the highest standards in working terriers. That's not taking away from others in the south or over the water but in the circles I'm in contact with there seems to be a higher percentage of lads who only settle for the best.I think the Northern lads set the standard to a level that most others don't think is obtainable. No offence to anyone anywhere just my honest answer to this question. So basically fo -

I spoke to Dave Harcombe on the phone just ,fella was extremely nice. He's had an enourmous amount of successes ans failures like everyone but his standards are high he knows dogs as well as any on here if I was looking a pup and was offered I'd take one from those kennels without a second thought.I know very little about the other FULL NAME mentioned on the open forum but did dig a dog from his lines last year and it's an impressive dog. Whats next full adresses and post codes -
Time to start lol I did nt drink either till I read this thread it's obviousely 2 different dogs as one has 8 or 9 grey hairs and the others 6 lol HELP
-
Aha but are ye sure it's the dog with 6 grey hairs?or is it 7 or 5?ooohh

what lines do u think are the best??
madgerboy replied to beef-unit's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I have to say I love lines BUT they have to be straight.nothing as flipping annoying as a line that's not straight.I like fishing lines and clothes lines but have a thing for double yellow lines they really do it for me.Power lines?don't start, never straight are they?always bowed in the middle,do my loaf in.really effects my day.
