you could try turning on a hose pipe on it evey time it barks but timing is croushall put hose on as soon as it starts hope that helps

a mate of mine had one for about 10 years big strong ginger dog, half cross,he was a fecker with other dogs ,excellent guard ,mind of his own,he took deer single handed ,developed a taste for lamb though and would sneek off the first chance he got ,he had to have a lot of holidays away with friends,i dont think theyre as popular now because its hard finding decent german shepherds ,they all seem to suffer badly with hip problems,and slope backs. . i think your right there

I have since found out that the original purchaser has installed a 'container' in a remote field where he is placing all his dogs,and visiting them a maximum of 3 times a week to feed etc. IMO not a good life for any dog no.gif . Needless to say,he is no longer a friend. That was a close one mate sounds like a right c##t

i no what you meen simoman but if you do give me a shout my dog is 16 now and obviously retired for few years but would love to get new one in the not to distance future

the main thing to do is keep it clean and try it needs to scab up just like us if you got a cut and you keep get it weting it take longer to heal up may be the reson it's foot gets swollen is you mite be putting bandiage's too tight . and stop it from runing round keep it in one room or some thing for a week or so or if not sure go back to vet hope that helps wild dog

the way i do it is a bit at a time start by doing all its feeding outside in the run it will a sociate good things with the outside run then increase the time each day turn on a radio like has been said and give it plenty of toys good luck
