    IN IRELAND I NO ITS LEGAL..BUT NOT 100% SURE..I DONT NO IF YOU NEED A LICENCE OR SOMETHING AS THE COURSING CLUB BEAT THEM FOR THE COURSING WITH MUZZLES..HARE LONG NETS ARE MUCH STRONGER AND HIGHER THAN A ONE YOU WOULD USE FOR RABBITS..SO BEFORE YOU DO IT THE HARE COULD EASILY F*CK UP YOUR NET..!!

    its legal. the coarsing clubs have their reserves n tag their hares so you just dont want to upset them is all im nearly sure its illegal to hunt hares without muzzles..? that sounds right actualy? where would you find out for sure? Its nothing to do with upsetting coarsing clubs its the fact that someone going into a field and coarsing hares is illegal. The coarsing clubs have to apply for a license to collect wild hares from the minister for enviroment (currenly John Gormley) then when at an event all dogs have to be muzzled and from what i gather vets and npws ra

    im friends with travelers and no alot of them but these lads were travellers,i wouldnt put down travellers on this topic if i new they wernt but they were and my mate and the farmers seen the 4 dogs on the hare..!! Could have been 4 7 month old pups for all you now your friend told you and farmer told him no sorry they seen them sorry but any farmer l know people on the land that are not allowed don't wait on cops they get there gun get in Jeep or tractor and phone few friend close by FACT and sort it out themselfs full grown hounds lad me mate went down on the horse and they ran off
