    I went out about half eleven with 150yds of long net to do a drop ide not done before, only 4mile from my house were there is a good number of rabbits.the wind was right but everything came to a sudden stop when i tried to put the 1st pin in.The ground was hard shail and i couldnt push a pin in.I walked the half mile back to the car a bit dissappointed but new another drop on my way home alongside a railway line.There was about ten horses in the field but i managed to do the drop with no problems and took 17 rabbits.I went another half mile along the railway side and dropped the nets again and

    Ime out again tonight and its an even better wind so ime going to do a few of the better drops on the estate one of which i got my record of 68 rabbits off 100yds of net.Got a good feeling that record is in danger this season judging by the numbers of rabbits this year. Ian if i take you and teach you how to use a long net properly you will only tell all the farmers you taught yourself and that you no1 LMAO.Ian get your arse round hear tomorrow and show me how to put pics on this site plz,you said i need a cable and you had one didnt you...     have just got back fron a couple of hours with the 2X100yard long nets.Me and my son done three drops of the nets on some grass land about 40 miles from my house.The 1st drop we got 31 rabbits the 2nd drop baggad 16 and the last drop we netted 41.All the rabbits were big and heavy the only problem we had was on the last drop when a rabbit bit through the foot rope of one of the nets even though both foot and head ropes are black.I wanted to do another couple of drops but my son was tired so we called it a night with 88 rabbits.We were using 41/4" mesh with 100% bag in the nets which works very

    I agree with whats been said it is shot placement but if you can accurately place a .177 pellet with a high magnification scope then 60yard shots are well within the guns capabilities.I have the 100 in .177 and its simply unbeleivable....P&G

    Ive had my HW100 two weeks and shot over 200 rabbits with it and its by far the best built,the best handling,quietest most accurate air rifle ive ever used and i have used a wide range of rifles.I would recommend one to anyone....P&G hi P&G like you said far the best built. as it got the Weihrauch mod on it . W.D Yeh its got the Weihraugh mod and i got it in .177 and the carbine version.Ive put 6-24x50 scope on it which helps me put my pellet exactly were i want it out to 50yds and more,a truly awesome piece of kit......P&G

    The white spots on the livers of the young rabbits are Coxcideosis and it effects rabbits up to 3/4 grown especially in places where there is a high population of rabbits.Young pheasants get it too.It would be wise to cook those rabbits up for the dogs or ferret food although you can eat an infected rabbit why bother.If you shoot only big rabbits you wont get this problem and most young rabbits recover from the desease....P&G...

    Ive just had the pleasure of using a new HW100 and to be honest it blew me away.I own a s200 and find it a brilliant little gun and a friend of mine owns a AA410 and ive shot 100s of rabbits with that its a lovely little gun but i have to say the HW100 is the gun for me.Ive just ordered a HW100K in .177 and cant wait to pick it up....P&G

    They paid £650 each and the guns come with 2 fourteen shot mags An excellent HW silencer,i think the gun is a bargain at that price....P&G

    I have a S200 with the 10shot mag and find it an excellent little gun especially for stalking over rough or hilly ground.The accuracy is excellent and mine is .22 and can take rabbits out to as far as the person is capable of shooting......P&G

    Nice shooting there,well done.My two mates bought a HW100 each a few days ago.After setting them both up one of my mates said why dont i go try it on the bunnies on the estate which i didnt turn down.I sat for four hours under a big ash tree where there is alot of rabbits.i packed up just before dark with 35 rabbits between 15 and 55 yards, and a woody.Ive never shot a more accurate air rifle it seemed as though i couldnt miss with it....P&G

    Are you being serious,wat the feck are you on how many rabbits have you actually killed previous to this one.This trapping forum is getting worse everytime i have a look on it.I suggest you take up finger knitting and leave the rabbits to the hunters,jesus thats me in a filthy mood the rest of the day.....P&G

    I could take the rabbits along that edge no problem snareman and thats the only edge a i can see on that picture so thats the one ime refuring to.And i know that the scraping of runs into the soil works as ive done it.Ill be up to see you Glenn after this court case so havce your fists up as you are going to get the beating of your life you old b*****d

    I dont want to get into any kind of disagrement hear.Ide just like to say that over many years of trapping mink in fenn mk 6s i found that very few mink where killed outright in the trap.I used wires on all my fenn mk 6s and without fail any trapped mink had pulled the trap into the water.This tells me that the Mink were not killed instantly.I think most people underestimate the power of a mink espcially the dogs.
