  1. Well, this site has now got another rabbit snarer who can get results
  2. If you snare well out in the fields you will catch only adult rabbits.Yuo have to be at least 40yds out from the rabbit warrens and even more if poss Also,if you long net them using 21/4" mesh on a night you will catch only big rabbits
  3. Your could be too low.Set it up another inch or two and make sure your noose is sitting straight over your run.It could also be that your noose is too far to one side,if so the rabbit will knock it over in the manner you already mentioned.Remember your snare MUST sit square to the run and be vertical to the run Keep up the good work mate
  4. Had rabbithunter down today.Had him in the shed showing him how to make snares and tielers then took him out for some hands on experience. He set fence, pegged and hoop snares in various different terrains. We where out until dark and decided to check a few of the wires on the way back home. Heres a few pics....

  9. This dog fox is the fifteenth fox off a fifty acre small holding where they have lost lambs over the past few years. They havent lost a single lamb this year due to the preditor cotrol. Three years ago when the owners first called me in i shot and snared 27 foxes off the same area in three weeks.

  18. You can get big bags of crows over layed barley or layed wheat in the summer months.A few decoys on bamboos will get you away no problem .Very big bags of crows can also be taken in winter while they are going back to roost in mid afternoon.Find a flight line and get set up under it with a few decoys and your in for a busy afternoon.Theres no need to be up at the crack of dawn for these two methods of crow shooting .I use a shotgun for both these types of shooting
