    Having read the welfare act far from it being illegal to show docked terriers it is open to debate that it is wrong to show undocked terriers as working terriers the act clearly states that working breeds should be docked to prevent damage in later life, the act goes on to state that docked breeds can be shown if it is to show there working ability , now here is the quandary how do you judge working ability in terriers, size , good bite, coat , head , etc , and the age old terrier standard can it be spanned by you average pair of hands , what judge in the land would say worki

    THE great yorkshire show is the premier agiculture show in the uk the hound and terrier show have all ways been popular, to walk away with out a fight will be an insult to the men like tony kirby etc who set this show up, we need to make a protest enter as many terriers as possible then on the day boycot the whole show or all enter the RING ON MASS AND HAVE A PROTEST WHO EVER HAS THE PUPPY CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY DONT SEND IT BACK

    the judge at thorsby was asking how terriers were bred a working terrier judge should judge every terrier on its own merits it ain't crufts , why would you want to know how it was bred unless names win rosette

    do you follow the letter of the law in every walk of life, would you consider the hunting ban a just law , and if so do you work you dogs, and if your terriers accidenly broke the hunting ban would you report it as i can not see the point in doing some thing were you might one day break the law and it may cost you money and even the right to own dogs , just a thought
