Hi It is illegal to dock your own pups.It MUST be done by the vet and microchipped so that the docking and microchipping numbers correspond. There are more vets out there that will dock however most vets require you to be a longstanding customer and will request that you do not advertise the fact that they dock. Your vet will normally prefer to tell you face to face if they will dock and that if you telephone the practice will tell you that they do not preform this proceedure.
