theres no point putting a bipod on ur gun mate springers dont like bipods atb He's dead right. It'll jump all over the shop. You can't rest springers on anything solid 'cos of the way they recoil. Cheers. As already said mate.. I use a tripod stool when wanting to take the longer shots.. OK, do you have any help around my other questions, I have seen some second hand for£60-70 Do you have any more info you could tell us on the guns you have seen at this price ? Also some friendly advice below for you to consider.. Do you have permision to shoot on the land for the woodies you have seen ? Will you be getting any insurance ? How good a shot are you, cause pigeons are a hard quarry for a beginger to shoot ? And when you are good you can expect small numbers but still get a buzz from it.. You will get the best advice from everybody on this forum who Know there stuff, -
At least you know its in good hands now and will be top notch when you get it back mate, with some good hunting sessions to come with confidence in the gun.. I have a Lightning too and is an accurate and powerful springer.. lol And the person you got it off,what a :wankerzo4:

Safety off Pull barrel as far as it will break and keep it there. Squeeze trigger and gently let the barrel go back gently whilst squeezing the trigger a couple of times. The barrel should then spring back into de-cocked position .

Have you checked the safety mate or tried to decock it.. Just an idea if it helps..

Hi hyperion.. What advice would you give to us airgunners with regards to gun care before and after going out in the rain ? I dont mind getting wet, but I do worry about the gun afterwards in case I dont get it drired properly and starts to rust in places I dont see.. if its had a really good soaking then................. action out of the stock (using the proper tools for the job) scope and mounts off! blot the whole lot with kitchen paper and leave some where warm but not hot to dry wipe down with an oily cloth and lube as needed reasemble and rezero! if
