  1. Well for some time now my light bulbs around the house have all been halogen except my bathroom, that's a large bathroom LED.So basically in my living room we've got an upright chandelier with 3 candle bulbs small Edison screw halogen equivalent to 40w each.anyway one blew yesterday so I went to local hardware shop to replace it but they only had equivalent in LED for £2 each,so I bought 3 to change them all, well what a difference in brightness and light output,I couldn't believe it..its like white daylight not the yellowish tint you get from halogen. The rest of my light fittings are GU1

  11. The first scene with the ghillies going on poacher watch was in the daytime, they met up at the diner just below The Cross Keys @ lower Goodrich on the A40 back then I think it was a Little Chef? I think there were 2 either side of A40 back then? What committee are you attending? Cheers.

  13. Here's a shot in the dark? There was a TV series from mid 90's that I remember recording on video tape(VHS). It was about 6 episodes in total?? Every episode was about different countryside jobs,Gamekeeper, ghillie etc... I remember the episode about the ghillie job was filmed on the Wye,reason being they were out at night to catch poachers and on the land behind there was someone lamping, and this was one of my permissions. Can anyone recollect the name of the series? My video tape has long long gone!!

Cheers Shaaark,it surly is solid, the stock is hardwood and it certainly is hardwood, had a pig of a job putting stock swivel in,drilled a pilot hole no problems, but to screw it in was a nightmare. Got it in,in the end with some bostic in hole and on the threads, its solid now.To be honest Big Dan's review swung it for me with my final decision. I've heard and read about Lyn Lewington tuning,he's about 45 min drive from me.Thanks for the birthday wish☺
