Albert I think the ideas you have are pretty damn good ones.. at least someone's tyring to keep our sport rather than letting it rott away??     Winner of the big stake,was a very proud John Maher.This is the 3rd year in a row,that john has won this,and wat is an even greater achievement.He's done it with the same dog,for the 3 years.Or would it be better put,to say,that the dog has done it 3 years in a row.With the same owner,lol.     As Shane Lee and the lads down south are holdin a show some time this year.I thought id put on a few pix,of the racing they held,2 weeks ago.My daughter and me travelled the 3n12 hour trip,just to meet up wit a few old mates,that wee hadnt seen since last year,and i wanted a chance to see what the new camera lens could do.I must say,i even impressed meself,lol.These lads are all good lurcher men,and love nothing better than a good gallop up the field,after a lure,now that the working season,has once again,run its course for another year.These dogs dont get threw in the kennel,over the summer m

    I hpe all Lurcher, Terrier, Whippet & Stong Dog entusiasts will turn out to support this club. We are trying to improve our club and make it better and better. All proceeds that are made from the shows we hold go striaght to our choosen charities. Ano speaking for myself I travel all over Ireland to support all other Clubs and hope that it will be returned. We hope that all Clubs will make their show a qualifier for the 32 Counties Campion of Champions. The Racing Meetings in Roscrea etc are also qualifiers for the 32 Counties. So plase Support the NWTLC.

The concept for the Championship is based on the belief that no existing Championship caters for the show enthusiasts on an all Ireland basis.     After many comitte meetings.We now have our dates for all 3 shows,to be held at BARRON TOP FARM. DONEMANA, Co Tyrone,Northern Ireland.As many on here know.We are trying to improve on what has already proved to be.One of the best show venues in ireland.This year,we have some super cups on offer,for all 3 shows.Thanks to big Terry moore.Who has gone all out.To make this venue,the one that will be talked about,all season,and hopefully every season.When we've achieved what we are setting out to do.From this year on.Some of you may remember,the old All Ireland Lurcher and Terrier events.From years

    Ok.Where do i start.Went to my daughters school carrol service today.Was doing the photo's,for the school.Came home.Put photo's on my laptop.Took out my new Sandisc Extreem Compact Flash card.Put it in the camera.Which told me to format the card with this camera.Went to format,and got the error message that the card wouldnt format.Tried a few times,with no luck.So i just reached for the card id taken out,with all the carrol service pix on,and guess bloody what.Got the same message.Summit funny here i thought.So i put in another card,that ive also been using regularly.Samr thing.Please format c

    Go for it Kay.With both hands.The quality,is as good as the more expensive 18/200 IS.tHE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE BUILD.nOT THE GLASS.bOTH LENSES USE THE NEW IMAGE STABILISING TECKNOWLEDGY.tHE BUILD IS OF PLASTIC'S.wHEREAS,THE 18/200,IS A METAL CONSTRUCTION.wITH METAL RINGS.The 55/200,has the same glass,and same IS.But hasnt the same wear,n tear.Looked after,and in carefull hands.It will last as long as you or me.The difference in quality,will be enormous.Especialy at this time of year.When we dont have the light we need,for good action shots.I cant understand,why this wee lens is so cheap.Ive see

    Sorry if this offends, but you either need to read your manual or sell the SLR and buy a compact camera! Thought this was a forum where us in the know,are available,and willing.To help all those in need of help.I dont look at the books,and find i get more,out of getting out there,and practice,practice,practice.Ive learned more,from folk telling me little tips,than i'll ever learn from any book.18/55.Evin with IS.The 18/55,is not a lens for sport,or action shots mate.I'll get back to you about those 2 lens's mate.At the moment im using the 18/200.But in saying that.The 75/300,is a better

    Salmon dont feed at all,during their stay in fresh water.They attack lure's,and fly's,in a killing mood.Could never understand though.Why some of my fly's,are at the back of their throats,and imposible to remove.I used to kill quite a few fish on the fly,(daily)and once took 18,in one day,and hooked,played and lost,as many or more.Those days are over now,as there is a bag limit of 2 salmanoids a day now.The only reason i took so many,when the chance arrived.Was that the river derg,where i fish.Is a spate river.Up one day,down the next.We might get 5 good days,in the season.So we took what we g
