    well i dont know if im going to race any of my boys but were still taking the run down.. people cant help themselves and haveto say something.. always been the way and always will be the way..If I give up evrythime somethings been slabbered about me and my dogs Id not be doing it anymore but its the last show of the season and I intend to be there... then start lamping a cuple of my dogs and see how they go.

    So because people chat to someone who might just be running a show means that there going to win. Its me who has the dogs..not dad..and I dont even know if Im going to race any dogs at the Show. Its a day out for me. I don't care should my dog come last up the field.. it doesnt bother me in the least. As long as my dog comes off sound then Im happy. Kirsty

    Iv'e judged one show before and that was only this year and i know i was a bag of nerves on the way up never mind when i got into the ring.. and i was aware of the odd few havin their wee opinion but it was mi choice and mi decision to put up the dog of mi choice and i did.. and he was a wrkin dog too.. and a bull cross.. nt mi normal choice of whippet greyhound but all in all i w3as well proud of myslef for how i dne.. all u can do is ur best and i had a gud day doin it too.

    Just want to say i had a realli gud day at the Moira game fair... and from experience..when you step inside the ring to judge it isnt the easiest of jobs. i judged my first ever show at Lawrencetown and when your standing outside the ropes its easy to be judgemental but as soon as you get inside it it isnt an easy job. i knw i got some criticism for the choices and decisions i made but one thing i can say is the dog i put up for Champion and the bitch who i gave reserve in my eyes were 2 crackers and a credit to their owners but i will always stand by mi decision.. its not an easy task atal..

    Would just like to pass on my congratualtions to the winners and also say a big congratulations to Mark and Tipp. She is a craker of a bitch and had a very well deserved win... Dannyboi was a very proud daddy i have to say. She's one tremendous put together girl.. a real credit to Mark...

    Graham big well done on getting reserve too.. for my first show judging it was definately a difficult task.. the final was especially hard to choose.Was deffs a hard decision but ur bitch is definately a craker too..

    Im not saying how wonderful I am racing anf showing my dogs. what i am saying is that us folks that do show and race our dogs do need new incentives and ideas as the shows are getting less and less every year and soon down the line theyl be nothing there for us to go to.If you think its too expensive as someone else has previously said on here if you don't like it don't go.. I'll go too any expense for mi dogs..You'l not be piking my bill so all's good..And Im not a trophy hunter..I know people who are but that's not me..I do it for the days crak and to give the dogs a wee run too... if i win

    Dannyboi I am so pleased that u can afford to fill the car van what ever with diesel and travel 2 hours you must have a well paid job I work hard all week if I can get a full weeks work And I am sure I am not the only one getting it tight with money in this climate I work my lurchers in the winter andcant afford to spend my summer and my money hunting rosettes and watch the dogs bag chase you must do plent of lampin ferretin etc to have 7 dogs and work them all and keep them fit in the winter months Its actually me and my dad that travel to the shows and own the dogs between us.. iv

    I travel all over Ireland and Northern Ireland to compete at shows regardless of costs etc.. Is it not about meeting people and having a good sporting day with ur dogs etc?? That;s what I thought it was all about anyway.. Just goes to show where the lurcher world is headin when people have this kind of attitude.. Albert has gone out of his way to accomodate the folk that seem to want evrything for nothing or near enough that. I personally think its great that people are coming up with new ideas and things that we can compete in. You haveta be in the game.. Cant people just be grateful for out
