Very strange coz i was out on my own one night stashing my drugs when i heard some weird noises from the field next to the footpath i was on. Then all of a sudden this lass jumps over the fence closely followed by a lurcher type(god knows what they'd been up to at that time of night ). Anyhow, before i could say ought she shone a bloody big torch thing in me face, couldn't move coz she'd blinded me, then i heard a wailing scream, lights went out and could just make out in the darkness her and her dog legging it away from me. You do come across some strange folk down Lancs way don't you

Heart says England win but my head and home advantage tells me something totally different. Think Wales will win but will they win by a big enough margin?. ATB to both sides and hope it's a good contest. Mick

I prefer beef fat when making venison sausages. I just go to local butchers and tell him the weight of venison i am going to use and he sells me right amount of beef trimmings, rusk, herbs(similar to cumberland mix) and skins(natural not synthetic/man-made). Jobs a guddin. ATB Mick

Fishing Garry with my mate. Been up that way a few times but this will be the first time targeting ferox. Hope we're in luck, been told early season is best time to catch one. ATB Mick

Hotel booked for three nights , boat and ghillie booked for two days fishing for ferox , just cant wait. Roll on easter. First time i have tried for these fish so any advice will be greatly appreciated. ATB Mick

Spot on Rossboi25... Fished Fionn Loch about 5 years back, probably the best brown trout fishing i have had. Spent 2 days up there on the Loch and caught close to 100 trout. Nothing big but great sport. Intend going back in the very near future. ATB Mick

Have you tried Irish federation of pike angler clubs (IFPAC), think they cover many clubs north and south, might be worth contacting them as to local clubs ATB Mick

I used to use this a while back but belive it has changed. Asked my vet and his advice was " if it turns cloudy when you add water then don't use it for pets" so now i don't ATB Mick

My previous springer bitch was called Fern, present springer dog called Bracken. I also like Teal, Nettle, Gyp, Piper, Amber (for a goldie) or Jet (for a black) and Sierra. Whatever you call her i hope she turns out good for you. Atb Mick

I was thinking of getting a camera to take with me when out with dog, shooting or fishing etc. General use as well as capable of taking decent photos of local flora and fauna. I have looked at a few on internet and think a bridge camera may suit my needs. Fuji x-s1 and hs30 exr look decent, has anyone had experience of these or are there better alternatives out there. Budget about £400 - £500, any help appreciated. ATB Mick

Totally agree the dog walker should not have removed the gun under any circumstance. I thought this was classed as an automatic offense under 'strict liability' to which there is no defense and carries a five year minimum jail sentence or has the law changed recently. ATB Mick
