    Theres only one person that start shouting money maybe hes saying with the 24 hour thing that it was two nights that he went out with the two dogs so thats 8 one night and 9 the next split between two dogs that about four each a night.

    A lot will be the size of the parents and the you will get a few in-between but you will have a hard time knowing which are going to be which size . Ive seen plenty of 3/4 greyhound 1/4 whippet 20-22 and others that look like pure greyhounds from the same litter

    why 20 ins whippet x25 26 ins saluki i would think pups would be 23 or 24 ins wish it was that easy but it dont work like that.

    It was advertised in the counrty mans for a while someone came up with a stud and tried it.. Im not saying they are all good but am asking has anyone else seen one ... Its new to me i think your mates a lucky fecker,and got a one off Maybe he can just train dogs better than most on here Gundog crosses make very good hunting type lurcher. Before people put silly post up maybe they would like to tell us why ITO such a cross would be of no use. As ive heard it all before like with the saluki cross and now every one has them.

    don't think its a habit that's the running style of the cross. Do you lamp her ? if not try it a lot of collie crosses will start to not try if they have run a lot of rabbits with out catching much in the day time, even on the lamp you will most likely find she will not try on the ones to near the hedge. Hopefully if she starts to catch more she will get keener.

    How long have you had the dog ? and has it ever caught any rabbits with you, If you bought her you can never believe what most tell you when their trying to sell you a dog. Collie crosses can be a bit like you describe a lot of the time they never put there all in to a run until they need to.

    do you really have to ask what their bred for, and if you do i for one would wonder why your asking? The first thing i thought when i seen the bitch was they used a pet EBT, but when some one says come down and see it work you know why they have bred from it . maybe it wouldn't come up to what some one else thinks is a worker but it must suit them, and maybe it would suit you but you will never know if you don't go and see . How many others will do the same when they have pups?

    seen a few run mostly from the same litter. very fast bitch's 21-23 dogs 23- 25 they were a lot harder than whippet's or first crosses and had a more greyhound shap to them. why would greyhound racers put whippet in ?

    I've had them jump a 7 ft fence that had the top turned inwards and they could still get out. have a look at this

    most runs are a lot shorter than most people think, most courses at the Waterloo cup didn't last more than 30 seconds to a minute . give a whippet greyhound a long run up and a course of two to three minutes and see how fast it is on the next run, thats if it can .
