    was some dog, won against whippets and greyhounds and bred some very fast dogs. A mate put his greyhound to him the bitches turn out 21-22 and the dogs 23-24 all made top racing and catch dogs, Markbricks bitch is bred down from one of them. Cant remember the others being around at the time Max, None bred off the dogs you said about that I've seen had the drive of the ones bred in that litter off willhay.

    also there is only one road going out to the point and there are a few house get round and see the owners, springer normally love people so there is a good chance of it ending up at some one house put posters up along the road large one so people can read it even as they are driving past in there cars. here's a google map showing the houses and roads, good luck post if they get it back. http://maps.google.co.uk/'>http://maps.google.co.uk/ http://maps.google.co.uk/ move it around with the hand go closer or further away.

    cant remember what its like there except there's a golf course on the way to stepper point, may be a good thing to put a poster up at the club as someone may have seen it or see it . Not a nice thing to think of but it may have gone over a cliff, wont be the first time, but I will keep a look out for it as we some time go up that way.

    And where did that prey drive come from? any lurcher in the country that has greyhound blood in them has bull in them.

    whippets are like that I'm afraid very soft skinned and open up like undoing a zip, if you work it it will happen many more times. Keep the wound clean and it will heal up no trouble no need for a vet, most likely to late for it to be stitched. And it would most likely open up again even if it was stitched up. It will not be hard to keep clean as she will keep it clean witch is most likely how it opened up more. I had the same thing with my bitch, she had a small cut when i went to bed and in the morning it was three times the size almost healed up now and that was two or three weeks ago.

    All look like smooth salukis to me the odd one maybe has a bigger head than most but that could be down to crossing with other types of dogs who knows. If they look the same run the same and catch the same they are the same.

    Took my lurcher out last night with a mate and his lad plus their lurcher, on the way to the farm we had to stop and walk the rest of the way as the roads where flooded , the fields where a bit sticky aswell. At the end of the night we was that tired i forgot to take some pictures of the catch but i did get some walking down the road after we had to leave the van

    well its good that your a good-sport but its a comp you was running in. we all run are dogs in the moon when we are board of tv or to just to give the dogs a run but when your going on a sereis night you wait till the moons down. Some one said before your run in another post you should wait a week and you only have to read the report to see they was right.

    on ground i know i can catch a few even when the moons up as i now which way they will go if i didn't know the ground i would be lucky to catch any at all. that why i asked whos ground you was running on as to my opinion if you don't want one then PM each other and not put it up on a open forum

    The comps a bit of craic mate, if the two people matched are happy to run when the moons up i cant see any problem. you cant see a problem yes it should be fun but it should still be run right. another week and it would have been a lot better .

    snip it off as it will never stay on and then tape it up as micky says with V R when your going to run in the competition

    well done Farmer1 I'm surprised you got anything with a full moon. whos permission was it you was running on and Why was it held when the moon was up? you would think with it being a competition it would be held at the right time of the month.
