    some of our lamping land for the lurchers consists of some hilly land that is bordered by rocks and heavy shingle totally unsuitable for the dogs to run,here many rabbits sit near there setts and just mock us knowing there untouchable,aswell as sport we are there also to keep the rabbits numbers down.its been probly twenty years since ive used an airifle and an awfull lots changed with them since then,what i can gather from the pre charged guns is instead of braking the barrel inserting slug firing the new rifle can shoot many more slugs.so where toying with the idea of buying a second hand

    a very good cross if the right beardie is used,went out with a lad years back who had one of these and there wernt much it couldnt do,day time hares i saw it catch giving hare twenty thirty yards law,a good baseline for breeding good allrounders

    had an ibizan hound cross in 88/89 that was bred by joe wiltshire. he had quite a few of em at that time. could run and jump for england but as thick as a table top. will see if i can find a photo. Gouldy ended up with a ex match dog called king in the early ninetys, rough haired cream dog would that be the same dog? king was a merlin bred dog,that ken g ended up with

    hes 7 month old dev.hes running empty drains and earths already and loves the rats.he ll need holding back. he,s a fine stamp mate and seems he isnt lacking in any hunting instinct at his young age and very wise words about holding him back,best of luck and again like him very much.

    good ratting terriers are made by constant work,no matter how well bred they are if you dont put them in the situation for them to develope there noses you aint never gonna have a good ratting dog,a pup from a well bred parents is obvioslley a good starting point
