i wouldent spend as much as possible on a body id buy a cheaper body and spend as much as poss on a lens because you could a really good body but it wont be any good with crap a lens i love canon and just cant get on with nikon its all down to personall choice best bet is to in to a shop and have a play with a canon and a nikon and see what you like
