    Every dogman knows this, and have experience with dogs who don't make the grade. yesterday I had a bloody argument with a guy who is a breeder. He has very good show dogs and thinks what is ugly for show would be good for work. He's been forcing it for ages but hasn't realised yet he is wrong. This is the wasting the time. And still wondering why can't be successfull meanwhile all the other laughing at him. Every of us tryed to explain our own experience with the zero dogs, and that he never will be able to raise a piece of sh1t.

    your right about game being used to much moo,think some people get it confused with keen lol heres somthing copied of another site describing game Game means the ability to a do a task when the odds are stacked against the animal. When a normal animal would quit, a game one will not. "Game" does not mean, aggressive, violent, etc. All it means is that an animal has the will to win against all odds, and never to back down. For game dogs or cocks it means to continue fighting when a normal dog "cur" would give up. Some dogs are good fighters and can often win before gameness

    you are right. hard language. I have more than one "DEEP GAME" But it is all the same they are dead or not, the bitch stay empty every time, the dog lost his balls in action, so god hates me. (for shake of weaks - NO, I don't cover my bitch with the ball-less dog ;-))

    Thanks. If I understand well I cannot say "deadgame" to a dog till it lives, just after if dead on it's quarry. Till that I can use the "deepgame" -of course if the dogs worth.

    I'm terrible sorry your dog mate, and I hope I don't misunderstand something, but if the dog's blocked off the air flow he's quarry must be also dead. Am I right?

    You can find good sized jagdterriers for denwork easily, it's no problem. Bigger problem is the soundless dogs. I saw many and more jagds and all of them were very-very hard but just have seen a few who barked well under the ground. All I can say is the average jagdterrier is useless without locator. It comes from the artificial den contest fever. Most of the breeders selected their dogs for contests, and there the sound was the mark of fear and the barking dog never win any prize.
