  4. looks good mate. how many ya gonna have in there? i have just extended mine. now got a 4ft by 4ft run and 1 single hutch and a double, just waiting for the girlfriends chickens to die and i will steal the shed and run that goes with it, that will be about 4ft by 8ft for the shed and 10ft by 7ft for the run. gonna be 5 in that
  5. cat meat, dont stay on too well but its a good bait, marshmallo on the surface is also good.
  6. depends on the jill mate. if she is alright with you picking her up you should be able to pick the kits up. if ya worried get some of there bedding and rub it between your hands, this should take away some of your scent.
  7. depends mate your jills may come back into season again. i would wait until later in the year
  8. i'll give ya 2 dead monkeys and 200 pampers nappys for it mate. lol, hows the pups getting on?
  9. 6 weeks old seems a bit young to me, mine willnot be going anywhere till they are at least 8 weeks old
  10. Well went to collect him and the people at the rescue where only too pleased to give him back to me. real friendly bunch of people, even gave me 2m of pipe to put in the court and did not want a penny for it. top notch. he is now back in his hutch having a sleep, he went mad when he saw me though.
  11. he is coming home. gonna start the mile round trip in a min. cant wait, he is my best worker to manea ferret rescue
  12. whatever next, after a full day of ringing around about 4 different rspca shelters and 3 ferret rescues i have now found out he has been taken to march near cambridgeshire, woman asked me to ring back in 20 mins cause she was driving now i cant get through will i ever get my ferret back if not i will go there with all guns blazing
  13. i just spoke to elaine on the phone and she said it has not got there as yet and may be in transit. now just gotta wait for a call
  14. just spoken to the rspca and they have moved my ferret on to a rescue in peterborough and bruce and elaine have him at the moment. has anyone had any dealings with them? will they charge me to get him back? waiting to hear back is like
  15. on the 2nd of this month one of my ferrets got out of his hutch, i think i may be to blame as i may not have shut the hutch properly. i have been searching around the garden and set live catch traps and left his hutch open in the hope he would come back. by today hopes had started to fade and i thought the chance of getting him back where zero. on the way off the farm today there was a sign put up that a ferret had been found wandering by the side of the a47 late on 3rd. there was a phone number to call on the bottom. i got the mobile out and rang straight away and told the man what my ferret
  16. mk3 you have to remove the batterys after use, with the mk3m you leave the batterys in and turn it on and off using either the magnet in the mk3m locator box or a magnet you yet with the collar on a key fob
  17. well a mk3m with 2 is about £200 and another collar is another £60. think you would be best off buying a brand new box with 1 collar and buy 2 second hand collars, the lot would then only cost you about £220 instead of £260, would also advise buying all mk3m collars as they have different battery sizes to the mk3's
  18. best thing to do is send an email to deben with the photo attached and ask them, they will probably ask you to send it in so they can fix it, may cost 10-15 bucks but well worth it in the end
  19. if you hear of any more could you let me know as i need a mk3 or a mk3m collar for the girlfriends ferret for the coming season. will even take 2 if they are the right price
  20. i think that people that have used the mk1 would want that more as most people dont like change, i read that the mk2 was discontuied due to too many faults, i have a mk3m and i would say it is the best piece of kit i have ever brought. as for the best place to buy them i would say on this website or rabbiters.co.uk for secondhand or a shop if ya getting new, everything on ebay seems to be going for silly money.
  21. i have got 5 albino hobb kits ready in 3 weeks. free to working homes. based in norfolk
  22. good luck when you can get them for free, also do you really think they will be ready at 6 weeks old? you should give them at least 8 weeks with the mother.
