I had a Theoben classic 22ft/1b.It did the job but was noisier and pushed a lot less lead.A word of warning though mine exploaded.To explain i was crossing a fence one night with the barrel broken and accidentally touched the trigger.The barrel snapped shut bending like a bannana and unbelievably the stock blew apart. Contacted Theoben and explained that i had accidentally pulled the trigger when the barrel was open and before i could say anything else the woman on the other end of the phone says your barrel will be bent and your stock will have blown apart then? Thanks for the excellent ideas.The Sako has a floating barrel so the wing mirrors no good.I really like the idea of the pipe foam on the window.The rest i was going to purchase would be fixed in one position which can sometimes limit a shot but the window can go up or down. I think a trip to B&Q is in order. I will let you know how i get on Thanks again.

Are you thinking drivers or passenger window? What vehicle is it for? Drivers side Grand Cherokee Jeep.

Do most of my lamping from vehicle window and am probably going to purchase a shoot right rifle rest which attatches to the car door making a solid comfertable platform. Are there any other simpler solutions to this issue.

The finnfire has quite a tight match chamber with little freebore, any slight build up of wax or lead can lead to this problem. Keep clean. What ammo are you using ? I had a problem with CCI subs, Winchester subs can be over waxed. CCI recommends high velocity ammo is NOT used in this rifle. PV. Recently found live round in barrel after i had tried to clear using bolt? Any solutions to this dangerous fault. I also purchased a 10 shot magazine which only loads reliabley for two or three rounds?.
