Well lads not to long till geese in ireland were the best spots im in tipperary an was luck enough last season to land on a near by pond but id say it was a once off as there have not been there before any help would be great so can get the old man out with me

I think when you choose the dam and sire it is yours as it is you choosing witch fog to cover a bitch and if it sucess full after 3 generations as hickrou has said but not just knocking pups out for the sake of it test the dogs you choose yo breed and see how there pups fair are they as good, better or worse than what there sire and dam are. I think you should always look for better than what you have to really benifit.. Pat

Well lads when does a line of terriers become your own. I no we all start with other peoples lines like nuttal, stevens, booth, wheeler etc but when is it your own line?

Well lads is there any line of true working border terriers out there i had a 3/4 border 1/4fell was my first digging dog an done everything i asked of him but was sadly killed my the old mans german shepard and i havent seen a working one since then. Are they out there?

im not being disrepectful mate but if you were in the game 30 years, dont you have any of your own line or friends with genuine terriermen who would sort you out with a worker -
ask the man yourself if he wants to bring his dog for a dig and see what reply you get mate the best way id say. as you say its your mates mate and he dont no if he would. bring his dog..
