  1. Probably the most memorable was my dog catching 3 deer in one session with a chap of here, the other was my dogs first daytime deer wich he hunted up from a field awaythen flushed from a copse i didnt see much of the run but when i came over the brow of the hill and seen him tackling the roe on the winter wheat field with the green of the shoots and the hills in the background on a cold sunday morning it was a sight i and a feeling i will take to the grave with me it also got me into daywalking rather than just lamping.
  2. be patient mate,it will be worth it in the end my dog took a few runs to get going but it was worth it in the end try and choose a field that favours the dog longish gras hedges that the rabbit cant just fly into atb

  16. stubble fiels that have the odd copse in the middle of them always seem to hold well for me
  17. spartacus gods of the arena,Boardwalk empire, sons of anarchy season 2.
  18. Seen aubrey mentioned in running dog addiction in the chapter my boy tam about a beardie lurcher bred from a greyhound male over a female kc registred beardie, though this story was back in the 80's
  19. Just back in walked some fresh stubble had a massive female feral that was the size of a vixen ,never seen a cat so big must of been doing well eating the mice and rats in the crop. Had 2 dog foxes that i managed to squeak in with my pathetic squeaking got a feeling they are this years cubs all this in 2 fields and 10 mins so im happy.Had 5 rabbits from 7 run last nite and a thing that bites season starting to warm up nice,Just waiting for the maize to be cut and then its full steam ahead.
  20. I wish people would stop crabbing various breeds and crosses ,its pathetic we choose our dogs for the quarry and land we hunt what suits one person or place wouldnt suit another end of the day your dog only has to please you.
  21. For me it has to be watching youre dog hunt up,flush and then course a roe buck on a field of winter wheat, followed by a night on things that bite.
