    dont rush into buying one therses a lot of rubbish out ther make sure that sire and dam have had at least 4 or 5 seasons to prove themselves and when you go and see the parents do they look like they have seen work i recently bought a pup after many months of looking he was of a local hunt terrierman and so far so good just remember dont be afraid to ask questions youll know in youre heart when the right pup for you comes up im sure the lads on here will help you as they helped me all the best good hunting matt32

    thanks mate just read that info its spot on will stop feeding mince and chicken wings and go big with offal a couple of times a week cheers

    im feeding my bull cross pup the following beef mince chicken wings chickenlegs as its main diet i also add pilchards heart kidney and put a spoonful of bone build and cod liver oil i try to give him a bit of everything i also have working puppy biscuits which are 27%protein 18% oil i dont feed these all the time just as a snack here and ther if ive not picked my meat up does this sound about righ as i have been told i should maybe feed a lower protein biscuit any soggestions would be welcome as this is my first lurcher good hunting to all matt32 ps hes 4and a half month old

    i think its wrong typp ratcher is using the fact he writes fot the cmw to dupe newcomers to the sport i believe hes trying to start atrend like the labradoodle 350 for alurcher poodle cross come on it seems like hes trying to corner the market or create one i bet the poodle has never worked and you cant realy on a dogs genes from the past you only find out a dogs strenghts and weaknesses by working it i have lost all respect for the man hes using the cmw to sell his dogs hoping people read his articles and think he knows what hes on about hes a money grabbing fool

    i finally bnought myself a lurcher 2 months ago after wanting one since i was 12 im now 32 its the best thing i ever did after a lot of talking to people and reading posts on here i managed to find a litter of bull cros pups bred by a huntterrierman in dorset both parents looked like they had seeen work and where 6 and 7 years old the right age to breed as they had had chance to prove themselves it was due to sound advice of people on this site that i knew what to look for and what questions to ask so thanyou all my life has been pretty shit lately split from my partner and am missing my baby

    i have a FOUR AND A HALF MONTH OLD MALE BULL CROSS 3/4 BRED I CURRENTLY FEED HIM ON A 400G PACK OF MINCE I SPLIT THIS INTO 3 AND ADD EITHE CHICKEN LEGS HEART KIDNEYS I WOULD SAY ALTOGETHER INA DAY THE PUP EATS 800G OF MEAT I ALSO HAVE 27PERCENT BISCUITS WHICH I PUT OUT JUST AFEW AT A TIME IALSO PUT BONE BUILD COD LIVER OIL AND FEED PILCHARDS IN HIS FOOD AM I FEEDING TOO MUCH IF ANYONE COULD GIVE ME AN IDEA OF HOW MUCH WEIGHT OF MEAT HE SHOULD BE EATING ID APPRECIATE IT CHEERS

    if you lined a 3/8bull 5/8 greyhound bitch with 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound am i right in thinkin the pups would be 7/16bull 9/16greyhound

    ive got a 3month old bull cross bitch people have commented her belly button seems to stick out as its ages since i had a pup 20 yrs im just wonderin is this normal and will it dissappear im pretty sure my other dogs had belly buttons that went away

    finally a true gent has kept a bitch puppy 3/8 5/8 cross 1/4 3/4 bull pup hes called scot from blandford forum the lads from south wales should know of him i am after pictures of the litter spoke to him this morning picking the bitch up two weeks today wanted this cross for so long buzzing with excitement would love to see some pics if anyone has any cheers good hunting matt32
